Were any of you there for the 2011 Cowboys Classic as well? I sat up in Sec. 440 and had great seats, but the atmosphere inside the Jerry Dome was completely pro TCU. That wasn't a "neutral site" game at all.

98.9% of the tv timeout commercials were TCU, hell they even were promoting TCU women's volleyball during TV timeouts. The air horn was obnoxious and it just seemed to me that the entire thing was slanted toward TCU because their campus is 45 minutes from Cowboy's Stadium...

Was it that one sided against Oregon? All in all had a great trip and watched a good game but was disgusted that we gave up a home game for that.

I was in 136C, from my vantage point it seemed 65-35 LSU.

The fact that they had to pump in their band's music because their band wasn't even there should tell the tale.

Was completely opposite in 2011. All videos were LSU based and Oregon didn't bring their band. Atmosphere was all LSU versus the ducks.

I'm not talking about crowd presence or excitement. from where I was sitting it looked like 70-30 LSU fans, but the way the game was treated. Felt like this was just a home game for TCU that happened to be in a larger stadium...

There was no neutrality is what I'm saying.

yeah the big screen during timeouts was pretty much all TCU until after TCU's last field goal. They played that LSU radioactive hype video and LSU fans went wild. And O'damn Odell had the big return.

No I think y'all are misunderstanding. We clearly had more people but they only ever showed the TCU fans on the jumbotron. It was painfully obvious

I thought they were showing LSU fans when LSU was on offense, and TCU fans when TCU was on offense. The same with the pump up vids, the volleyball deal was bizzaro though.

I was at both games. The Oregon game was an LSU home game. The atmosphere was electric.
This years game felt like a neutral site game. 50/50 crowd. LSU crowd didn't seem quite as pumped up. TCU crowd wasn't as pumped either.

Didn't go last night, but it was more pro-LSU last time from the sounds of it.

They played a lot of our videos. They played the Calling Baton Rouge video pregame, and some other videos of LSU's.
