Now you're implying that being profitable doesn't even matter. I think you're wrong there.
fair point. how about you frick up every aspect of the job that you have enough influence on to frick up?

The “were profitable” argument implies that Alleva has made us more profitable.
SEC network and the TV deals made us more profitable. The general increase in money from CFB TV deals made us more profitable.
The money Joe squeezes out of fans is minor compared to the TV deals Joe isn’t
Negotiating.
Fans go and see winning teams. A huge part of the ADs job is not ticking up coaching hires.

Sure I think People are more worried about the sustainability of basketball given our HCs suspension, and the fact that no one trusts Joe to not get us fricked by the NCAA.
Lick his balls a little more though. Maybe we can win the CFP with a 9-3 record. We only need 2 more spots.

Same amount of proof but people hate Alleva and love Wade.
People hate Alleva cause he's a terrible AD. People love Wade cause he's a great coach.

Sammy, I don’t why I even try with you. No one is licking balls, such a childish post, but expected.
Keep drowning in the group think here, it’s what you do best. :cheers;

I dont Know why you just ignore everything that’s happening
Johnson and Jones were shitty coaches. Wade was literally the best coach Alleva hires and now this shite is happening.
But yay Gymnastics I guess.

Wait, you're willing to indict Alleva on what you just KNOW he knew, yet you give Wade a pass for being caught red-handed offering to pay a player? One man was recorded violating NCAA rules, the other man suspended the man who violated NCAA rules - and you want to keep the one who violated the rules and get rid of the man who suspended him for violating the rules? NEWSFLASH: Alleva wasn't the one caught cheating over the phone by the FBI. (BTW, it doesn't even appear that Alleva is the one responsible for suspending Wade.) You people have to be going through some SERIOUS mental gymnastics to blame Alleva for the predicament LSU finds itself in today.
All good points. But Alleva killed the tailgating experience and botched the les miles firing, and WW won an SEC championship in 2 years. So you have to factor that in.

If this all blows over than yeah obviously it’s a different situation
The basic premise of the conversation is if Alleva can survive this not blowing over.
If O makes it the CFP I think were good.
If O losses 3 or more games... how do you keep Joe around?

If this entire situation gets Alleva finally shite canned at LSU it was worth it.

Outside of women's basketball, that's exactly what's happening.
Alleva will be fired only if Wade goes down. If Wade gets reinstated, Allevas good for a few more years.
I figure he will resign after a few more anyway

I wouldnt Fire him if Wade survives this.
Hell if Wade doesn’t survive and football gets into the CFP I wouldnt Fire him.
O is a huge gamble but the wager hits it hits.
