He either a.) knew what Wade was doing b.) looked the other way and didn't want to know what Wade was doing c.) Is too incompetent to know what Wade was doing. Regardless, the buck stops at this desk.

Wait, you're willing to indict Alleva on what you just KNOW he knew, yet you give Wade a pass for being caught red-handed offering to pay a player? One man was recorded violating NCAA rules, the other man suspended the man who violated NCAA rules - and you want to keep the one who violated the rules and get rid of the man who suspended him for violating the rules?
NEWSFLASH: Alleva wasn't the one caught cheating over the phone by the FBI. (BTW, it doesn't even appear that Alleva is the one responsible for suspending Wade.)
You people have to be going through some SERIOUS mental gymnastics to blame Alleva for the predicament LSU finds itself in today.

They were lightning quick to SUSPEND Coach Wade. They should've suspended or fired Alleva just as quickly.

It seems that the only basis anyone here needs to make an accusation is: "OMG, I HATE Joe Alleva, hate hate hate him!"

Wade is the main culprit no doubt... read a, b, and c above again and let me know how Alleva doesn't share blame. He's the AD that hired him, and he runs the department.

Pretty funny people trying to protect Joe act like him no knowing what his direct report was doing is no big deal. Besides sacrificing the AD should play better than just the coach. I mean you’re willing to toss Wade over because you think he got caught doing something. Same amount of proof but people hate Alleva and love Wade. So there’s that
