It's the only voice the fans have to tell the officials he fricked up or tell the home team and coach they are fricking up and this team sucks to watch. (At this moment)
If somebody screwed up on the field, they know it. They don't need some loser booing them from the stands.

You probably boo 10 years olds at a soccer game.

Oh, gosh, there are so many things I could say to respond to this. Just jump off that bridge when everyone else is doing it. It's okay. Go for it.
Do you really think coaches make decisions based on fans booing? Especially our "fans"? And, do you think it makes the players play better? Do you think it impresses recruits? Do you think officials change their calls because you booed them?

I don't think the booing is for Jennings..... It's for the actual performance of the entire team at that point and time. It's going to happen when you see a great squad perform so underwhelming.

If it doesn't matter why do you care so much then? Does it affect your life somehow?

I'm sure the two 5 star high school recruits for 2016 that were visiting for the game (QB Feliepe Franks and OT Willie Allen) were in awe of the half empty seats
Stupid argument. The Fournettes of the world were around when JJ and Lee were being booed. Didn't make him not come here.

It matters only in a negative way. You know this. It doesn't make the coaches change a damn thing, but it "might" negatively impact a player or recruit. That's why people care about those idiots in our fan base that boo our own players.

Fans aren't booing the players. Never I'm my experience as a tiger fan have we booed players. We are booing the stubborn arse coaches.
Yeah, a lot of truth in that. The young men aren't going to be able to make that distinction, but a lot of it is directed to the staff.
to Harris and Jennings.

I don't agree with booing players and I generally like Miles but why in the hell would he keep marching Jennings out there when it's obvious he was falling apart. If you want to give him more snaps in the game then fine but let Harris come in for a series or two and let Jennings get his composure back on the sideline. Then let him get a couple of series.

Nobody has the right to boo these kids. None of them are getting paid to do this job. You wouldn't consider booing your high school football team, would you?
Bro, I have seen people boo elementary school kids playing tee ball. I am not lying. Parents that were ejected from a tee ball game.
Such is the state of our society today.

I wish Les woulda let Jennings back in during 4th, without the pressure to see if he cleared his head. We may need him down the road, Harris looks light and might get squished.

If you can't handle it, maybe you should find another sport to follow because that aspect has been around forever and will not go away.
Be ashamed or what have you, but either get over it or stop following LSU football.
This guy right here is a perfect example of what Harris was talking about last night. The booers love to say that there is nothing anyone can do about it (to stop their booing).
That is why everyone sitting around one of these booers needs to stand up, call them out, and shame the shite out of them in front of everyone whenever one of them boos our team. They are fake tough guys, pussies actually. Fortunately, there are a lot more real LSU fans than there are of them. They will see how out of place they really are.

ABSOLUTELY !

Did you honestly expect him to say boo him? Even if on the inside he is happy JJ Jr. is getting booed because it means he's more likely to play, he's not going to say that.

How does the starting QB not playing the last 2/3's of the game equate to "keep marching Jennings out there"???
Jennings played poorly and turned the ball over. Harris came in, played well, and never turned the ball over. How was anything handled badly?
We won big and Harris played well. Why are some acting like there is this big problem in the game?

Bull shite.
Don't act as though you know the intent of every fan in the stands.

If you can't handle a few boos, then you sure as hell can't handle the NFL. Stop being a bunch of pussies.

I'm going to type this really slowly so you can follow....
The
Intent
Is
Irrelevant.
The booing is not heard only by the coach it is supposedly targeted against, not that I buy this for a second anyway.
Regardless, the players hear it, and it is certainly not encouraging to them. Period.

How bout Brandon Harris'? Gag inducing as well?
And it's not so much righteous indignation by the many posters here as it is an understanding of who that person is when we see the drunken slobs/angry nerds that we see booing in the stands.
The well adjusted adults know the level of idiot they are observing when it happens. If you don't know what I'm talking about, there is a good possibility you are on the other side.
