I can't yell at a Tiger who's busting his butt to do his best. Laziness and thuggery are the two legit times to jump on a player, beyond that the rule of thumb is: "See what uniform he's wearing? Now, STFU."

It is no doubt that the fans were booing the decision to play Jennings. Jennings has done the work, but does not have the skill set to be a SEC player.. The difference between the two QBs is very obvious and the continued decision to start and play Jennings is a disservice to the team and a concern given Miles recent past in this area.
It was interesting to read back on Jennings recruiting and signing. The enthusiasm shown by so many here was not present in other coaches and schools. He's one of those that LSU missed on. So move on.

I might be able to buy his reasoning on the tweet. The kid is a freshmen so I could see him not being aware of how it could be taken. If he was a jr or something then i wouldn't buy it

I'm the biggest Les Miles fan out there. I'm one that believes he has done an incredible job here at LSU to help us maintain an elite status in college football over the last several years...and yes I said elite, as I'm one who actually counts things like wins and consecutive top 25 appearances...etc...
However, I FIRMLY disagree with you here. I'm one, just like everyone else that has issue with some of the things that Miles does....and given the cost of attending LSU games these days....he is not above criticism. If he repeats the scenario from the end of 2011 again, and particularly 1/9, and the team has negative results, I honestly don't think he will survive it. That is why I think he knows he has to play Harris.
Now, as far as nasty/knee-jerk/over-reacting/small-minded fans, well, you do realize you are on a message board made up of a large % of college students.
