Jennings head wasn't in the game. Should have been out even earlier

Our fans suck sometimes. Jennings is a 20 year old kid who was having a shitty night. You know what doesn't help? His own fans booing the shite out of him and chanting the backup's name. Booing the guy does absolutely nothing for Jennings' confidence going forward and I'm glad Harris called out the fans for it.

Does it matter if the fans are booing Jennings or the coaches. When Jennings hears the boos he knows the boos are all about his play. His confidence has to be at an all-time low now. What if we need him because Harris is "incapacitated."

If you don't boo the team, maybe it won't be misconstrued as that on television with millions of people watching. The players are going to hear this and say, "Are they booing us, are the coaches?" They will take it all in as not supporting the team or a team member even when you criticize a coach for the decision of which player is playing by a cascade of boos.

Have the Florida fans started booing Jeff Driskoll? Have the South Carolina fans started booing Dylan Thompson? Including myself, we need to stop talking negatively about the players even on the rant. We may know who the better players are based on what we see, but we have a choice whether or not to write negatively about the other players to make the point.

Fans should have clarified their booing. Les deserved a lot of boos for coaching decisions. The kid deserved none.

Of course Harris has the luxury of saying this. He just stole the starting job from a friend in front of 100,000 people.

I do believe the booing was mainly directed at the /coach. great response though.

Les Miles deserved to be booed there. He put Jennings in a terrible position and it was obvious.

I don't see why you guys get your panties in a twist over booing. Get over it. That is what sports is about nowadays.

Cause our coaches need to get boo'd more than most. If our head coach wants to continually puts a less talented player in a position to fail, then booing will continue

You described LSU fans to a "T" ! Man, you are spot on.

We hate LSU fans here at LSU.

I don't agree with the booing. I just wonder if the booing wasn't aimed at Les Miles and not the players. Jennings doesn't call the plays!

He knows better than what he says. Much easier for him to take the high road when he studded out and knows everyone wants him in there, and he knows the booing 1) will never be halted and 2) is directed at the coaches.

Booing a player is just not appropriate if that player is giving their best effort to the team. Even dumb mistakes are not worth booing because they are mistakes made when the player is making an effort.

The only time booing a player is somewhat appropriate is when the player does some type of selfless act that is all about the player and not about the team. At this point, the booing is meant as a corrective action and not as an insult. Most of these acts would also warrant an unsportsmanlike penalty.

This.

If anyone thinks we've seen the last of AJ, either as a starter or off the bench, they are dumb as dogshit.

Harris is extremely light. He could very easily get shaken up or actually injured against an SEC D, or he could just struggle on Yhe Plains or at The Swamp.

Jennings will still be needed if this team is going to reach it's full potential imo.

bullshite...we have EVERY damn right to be critical of Miles...he is a professional college coach that is being paid millions for his decision making and we have EVERY damn right to express our opinion of his performance

Too bad you aren't held to the same standard at your job.

These kids think it's at them and if you don't see that, then shame on you

Oh ok. So when BH came on the field you were really cheering Miles?

Give me a break.

They will be waiting with great anticipation for you to screw up to show you who's boss. Hope you shut them up with your play for the next few years!!
Better yet, reliving their 3rd string Pop Warner years.
