Voodoo is typical of the idiotic posters and fans that actually think someone is booing a 19 yr old kid and not our dumbass coach. They come on to the site to post claiming their uber fandom and use the situation to remind us all how much better they are than us- totally missing the point as usual.

That being said, I've been to
Many LSU games and have never booed, a coach or a player. I've also never used the situation to say oh look at me, I'm special.

Classy response shows his maturity. Both Harris and Jennings are young and inexperienced they both will have tough games. Just wish our fans were a little more classy. Support your team and its players especially when times are tough.

And why are you booing the coaches? Exactly.

Booing your own team is trashy. I was embarrassed last night.

Booing happens at any major college program when the play is horrible. Good example was Michigan yesterday. If you can't handle it, maybe you should find another sport to follow because that aspect has been around forever and will not go away.

Be ashamed or what have you, but either get over it or stop following LSU football.

Quit being a douche. I'm sure you came in here thinking you were being unique and noble for standing up to the boo birds. However, anonymously doing it via chat room is chicken shite.

Now I'm willing to bet, most on here did not boo Jennings. I would bet most of the booers were casual fans. I personally think the booing is not a good thing. But don't come on here acting like you are some Noble night for calling out the boo birds.

And your comment about not expecting us to be dominant every week is typical of a die hard les supporter. I support our team and at times, our coach. But you can't say that we aren't capable and shouldn't be dominating lesser opponents. We are better than most games we play, we just have a stubborn as coach that continues to make poor decisions in order to prove that he runs the team. No matter how stupid those calls are.

I never boo anything associated with LSU although I do have to restrain myself at times. When I reprimanded my friends around me for booing, they told me they weren't booing the players but were booing Miles. This is no excuse. The players don't know this and can't tell the difference. How do you think this sounds to the recruits?

The fact is that the Boo'ers were correct in their assessment ... The announcers, world, and our own players are left bewildered by Miles' ego driven denial/ignorance.

what sucks is that youre too dumb to even understand that youre dumb.

Miles is the one who spent years recruiting Harris and working with him in camps through high school. Miles is the one who said all summer that Harris would play early and often, starting with his first game as a true freshman. Which is exactly what has happened.

how.

in the frick.

are some of you seeing all that and somehow concluding that Miles doesn't think Harris should be the QB at LSU?

It's a shame that a 18 year old kid that is battling for the starting job has more class and maturity than tens of thousands of grownups sitting in the stands. I'm all for Harris being the starting QB, but booing the guy ahead of him is just pathetic on so many levels. You have to be a really POS to belittle a young man that is trying his best for the team you are so passionate about. We can all agree that Harris is more athletic and has a higher ceiling than Jennings, but booing to show your displeasure with the situation is not the right way to go about it. It looks bad to the attending recruits and at paints an unflattering picture of our fans. If you did this, you are hurting the team more than you are helping and you should be ashamed of yourself. Have a great day!

I just wonder if the booing wasn't aimed at Les Miles and not the players.

Players believe they are being booed. They aren't mind readers and take it personal. It hurts far more than it helps.

I always laugh at that reasoning...

"It's okay Jennings, we aren't booing you, just the decision to put you on the field. It's completely different and you should be cool with it."

Fans have been booing their own teams since the invention of the game. It's not unique to LSU, and it's not going to stop. It's a free country and people are going to do what they please regardless of what many, including me, thinks. You aren't going to stop it by posting on a website.

much of this board cant grasp that. maybe they think optimistic fans just take a dozen xanax and then smile at the tv as Miss State runs right down the middle of the fricking field for the 80th fricking play in a row.

i assure you, that is not the case, but hissyfits are for little girls. that shite hurts the program, how are some of you seriously so god damn dumb/selfish to not know that.

Rightd.

I think some are just socially awkward and others get caught up in the mob mentality.

True, but people booing need to be called out. It's ridiculous.

Voice displeasure in forums, call in shows, letters to the editor, etc. Players have absolutely no way of knowing where this criticism is meant for when it's done within the collective mob.
