Wouldn't be shocked to see this game change time or venue.

Unless it gets a lot worse, I think it will be in Columbia....

so...people in Louisiana in 2005 wanted to see Arizona State...the precedent to move the game is there...

This is just me being selfish because I want to go to an LSU game that's only 3 and a half hours away instead of 10

I've been watching Columbia TV online, and they say the worst of the rain is over. They will still have sporadic showers through the rest of today and tomorrow morning, but no more torrential, flooding rain. Then it will be sunny and warm for the rest of the week. They caution, though, that flood risk will persist through Wednesday, as rivers crest even after the rain stops.
Some of the pictures are unbelievable, but it's hard to know how widespread the catastrophic flooding is. Are we talking about hundreds of people temporarily homeless, or thousands? How many roads will be closed, and for how long? I don't know. I am certainly hoping for the game to proceed as scheduled (I am planning to go and meet up with some family, and have bought game tickets and airline tickets), and that's what I expect to happen given that it's still almost a week away, but we'll see.

What happens if they do change the time and venue? I have hotel reservations and purchased tickets. I went through an online vendor to purchase them so I suppose I can go through them for a refund

If they move the game, better believe LSU gonna get fricked by the SEC when its time to make it up

If venue is changed, then Atlanta maybe, depending on availability.

Well in 2005 tennessee flew in the day of the game and went straight to the stadium and left right after. If it's worst case then they will move the time from 11 am to 6-7pm and leave right after.

Word out of Columbia is that Williams brice is being threatened by river flooding..
Posted on 10/4/15 at 12:52 pm to LancePwll
The turf might get ripped right out of that place.

Im in Columbia as we speak working, its a mess here. The river is rising rapidly which will effect Williams Brice Stadium. Now I dont have any inside info but word on TV local sports channels is that talks have begun on a possible new location or play at a later date.
