Whats the deal with how probably 10 times last night Lee is weirdly chasing after the RB for 2-3 seconds before the handoff? I don't think its by design. It happened under the center and in shotgun and it seems like it only serves to give the defense 2 seconds to get to the ball.

I liked the half yard toss to the running back on that shotgun play

I noticed that too. Seemed like the timing was off

I don't mind that...reminds me of Favre or Peyton Manning handing the ball off (they stretch out really far).

What pisses me off are the goddam pitches. Don't pitch the ball if we're just running straight up the middle. Also had a couple of plays last night when we'd run sideways and the pitch was almost like a forward pass...it was just so awkward looking.

That's how the pros do it. It gives the running back time to see the ball well before the exchange.

Me thinks you just like to gripe about nothing....

Manning talked about doing this one time. His reasoning was that it stretches the play out.

Me thinks so too...

Do you actually enjoy watching the games, or ponder what silly things you can gripe about on TD?

I love that the Tigers doing so well pisses you off.

We want to get the RB the ball quicker and that extra 14 inches helps him get outside! Do you watch football?

yes, I think Lee's stats were great, but I thought he was off at times. The weird handoffs stood out, and he still threw off his back foot too much.

I am grateful for the win, but I am not 100% sold on Lee...

what exactly is it goint to take for you (and others) to be 100% sold on Jarrett Lee?

If he plays as a game manager (make throws when we need him to, don't try to do too much, and don't turn it over), we make it to Atlanta (and farther) fairly easily IMO.

All we need from him is 150-200 yards, TD or two, and minimal TOs per game and we're set. Sort of like a less-talented, more cautious version of Flynn or Mauck.

I hate that Lee gives a hand signal to our backs on certain run plays that are a very easy tell to the defense that we are running the ball. Does anyone else see this?
