What pisses me off are the goddam pitches. Don't pitch the ball if we're just running straight up the middle. Also had a couple of plays last night when we'd run sideways and the pitch was almost like a forward pass..

I hate that Lee gives a hand signal to our backs on certain run plays that are a very easy tell to the defense that we are running the ball. Does anyone else see this?

what exactly is it goint to take for you (and others) to be 100% sold on Jarrett Lee?
His having a good game against a good team.

That's what it will take for most of the fanbase.

You can talk up MSU all you want, but they are still MSU.

If he plays well against Bama, people will be sold.

Sort of like a less-talented, more cautios version of Flynn or Mauck.

He can shoot the ball out of his arse for all I care, as long as we win.

Whats the deal with how probably 10 times last night Lee is weirdly chasing after the RB for 2-3 seconds before the handoff?

I think it was more like 4-5 times. Two of those cases it was Ford who made the wrong cut.

reminds me of Favre or Peyton Manning handing the ball off (they stretch out really far).

it was more than that...Lee and the RBs were not on the same page...it was a hesitation....could be disastrous but it wasn't...they'll get it fixed.

Have been since Miles has been here. Any time an audible is called, it has been a run.

Under JR, Flynn, JJ, and Lee.

Our QBs have been doing it for 3 years now. MSU blew up a few of them in the backfield last night. They have to stop that shite.

Kind of curious about this myself.

The kid was 21-27 last night with a INT where there was miscommunication or Randle ran the wrong route. That wasn't all on Lee.

I hope I don't jinx it, but of all people, Jarrett Lee was the last person that I would think of having the 2nd longest streak in pass attempts without an INT in LSU history.

It's no different that Jefferson telegraphing plays by where he places his mouth piece pre-snap

If he is going to hand the ball off, he will keep his mouth piece on top of his helmet

for about 12 hours, and then they'll start-up with some quirk that they believe will cost us the Ole Miss game.

Bama is vital for Lee. It has been his kryptonite his entire career. He has never had a good game against them.

The only people you win over against MSU are people who were already sold on you. I am behind him, but am not sold until I see him against Bama.

They showed these handoffs a few times at a different angle. To me it looked like they were misdirection handoffs. I think that type of handoff was designed not a screwup.

10 games into the season huh?
Gees.

We played #3 team first game of the yr.
He has week to prepare.. has a ton of drops and still offense runs efficienty.
Last week he plays one half.. misses one throw.
This week on the road takes POTGame honors in first sec matchup... he is imprvoing each week.
How about next week? That will be 3 out of 4 ranked opponents in the FIRST MONTH OF THE SEASON.
Damn.. the longer you hold out worse its gonna be for you on here.

Do you think he gave a performance there that would sell him to people?

What are you talking about?

I think it's cute how you NEED me to hate on JL. It pisses you off that I treat him the same way I do any starting LSU QB, doesn't it?

I noticed that, but it's a relief from the awkwardness of him dropping back to pass. I'm surprised every time he doesn't trip.
