He inadvertently stole my pizza once and then managed to get pizza crumbs all over a 9 foot radius from where he ate it. I don't even know how that happens.

Funny you say this. On ESPN's ride along with Miles the other day he flat out ran a red light. It was hilarious. The girl busted out in laughter and he goes "nah it changed right before I went. I could see it, I anticipated the change." He's the man.

I had dinner with him and his wife Terri 3 days after the 03 MNC. Literally spent the evening with them for drinks prior and after the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award. His wife is awesome. Just loved her and we had a blast. She was trying to set me up with their assistant I believe. But he was an absolute prick. He really was. I care more about championships too so be one if you have to. But he really is a dick. I'm calling them to Texas now.....Terri wanted more glam...and she'll get that in Austin.

Has Candy weighed in yet? I'd really like to know her thoughts.

We were passing each other in a hall once, and I made the mistake of complimenting his hair....

You know people can express their opinions without you being a total douche about it...which seems to be your go to method every single time. We get it...you love Miles....you hate everyone who doesn't...end of story.

We were at the Cotton Bowl game in Dallas, staying at the team hotel. We were all on the top floor. The morning after the loss, I was helping the couple we traveled with load a luggage cart. I asked the wife how she slept(she went up early, the rest of us were in the bar with some players). She said she couldn't sleep for the headboard slamming from the room next door. Door to that room opens up and Bingo! It's Saban. He invites us in to meet his wife, they were both very nice, we had a hard time keeping a straight face. He may have lost the game, but he took care of business!

First of all: At the time he played Kent State was not a D-1 school.
Second: I know a lot of 5'7" white guys that would lite you up.
Third:Nick Saban recruited one of my players the year before he left for Miami and came to visit during spring drills. He was polite and a very likeable person. He forgot more about football in one day that your sorry arse will ever think you know. You don't know what you are talking about, just like the rest of the Saban haters on this board. He's undoubtably the best coach in college football at this moment. Saban cherishes his time in Baton Rouge and LSU. He made a decision that was wrong for him and LSU but I think he has made the most of it since then. It's these A-holes who constantly are fixated on bashing Saban that piss me off. Not Saban himself !

Any LSU fan that claims they would pick Miles over Saban as a coach is either 1) a butthurt liar or 2) knows absolutely zero about football.

I knew his son, went to school with him while they were in BR. He's basically the same person you see on TV all the time. He's very serious, constantly working (I never really saw him do anything with either of his kids), and he kind of has the ability to suck the happiness out of a room. He never seemed like a bad guy to me, just a very no-nonsense person with a lack of a personality.
