Derek Stingleys Father on OTB

Stingley and Sospher are the 2 O must land in ‘19.

LSU in a very strong spot- Corey Raymond has been there sink Derek was 14
Going to play for the Louisiana Bootleggers 7on7 team. Ryan Clark coaches that team
Derek has 11 picks last year (daayyyuumm)
Has crazy good athletic genes
Derek’s father hasn’t spoke with Bill Bush. His main relationship is with Corey Raymond and Derek Ponamsky (looks like O gave Derek Austin Thomas’s old responsibilities)
He will commit during the summer and there will be no waivering
Said he understands the passion of LSU fans. They love it when it’s great and they want it to be better when it’s bad
It will be Texas, Florida or LSU. No one else for sure. Thank god.
His father seems like a great guy
Based off that interview it sounds like LSU is in a prime spot to land the #1 corner in the country. This would be a huge win for O and Corey after the Surtain recruitment.

I hope O has a backup plan. If the guy at Bama decides he wants this kid, LSU better be ready to find a replacement.

You can say what you want about him but the fact is he had a lot of inside connections at LSU and when he usually broke news it was spot on.

Great kid. Honor roll student. His dad coaches db's at Dunham and is a great guy.
Nicky has been to Dunham twice in last 3-4 months to visit. Don't think he wants to go to Bama.
He and Corey Raymond have a great relationship. I think his mom would love to have him stay in BR. I think he ends up in purple and gold.
And. . . He really is that good. Been watching him play since 7th grade and kid is amazing.

Sounds like Stingley and his father have made it clear that Bama is out of play, which would explain why Bama is not recruiting him. I know it will bring the downvotes, but it appears that Saban gave up. He definitely wants him but smartly decided not to waste his time.

You shouldn't get any downvotes because this is the truth. This whole Saban and Alabama didn't recruit Surtain is a bunch of crap. Surtain and his dad played LSU the whole time. They won't be doing this song and dance with Stingley.
