I did on the RB, from the usual growlers I'm sure.

Yep. Stingley is a 5* in the city at our biggest position of need.

Sospher is a 5* Dlineman an hour away from BR in the state. If O can’t land Sospher or beat Troy then there is absolutely no reason to have him on the payroll.

It doesn't matter. He has attained mythic status on the Rant where forum members believe he was in line for an NFL General Manager position.

Derek’s father hasn’t spoke with Bill Bush. His main relationship is with Corey Raymond and Derek Ponamsky (looks like O gave Derek Austin Thomas’s old responsibilities)

So a slow-learner-looking, convicted felon, bush league radio disc jockey plays a key role in LSU recruiting.

Oh my god.

You can say what you want about him but the fact is he had a lot of inside connections at LSU and when he usually broke news it was spot on.

So because he knew people in the building, he was qualified to have an integral part in the everyday logistics of LSU Football. "He doesn't know shite about football, but he sure did break news about it. Good enough for me..."

I'm so glad you all know much more about football operations then the ones that are employed at LSU!

And for the record I have no stake in DP. I enjoyed listening to him on the radio and I wish someone would tell me what he has done so poorly since getting the LSU gig? Other than as far as I know the man made a huge mistake at one point in his life. Thank God we all don't live in a glass house!

Frank Wilson said he was going to be an NFL GM not the Rant. Austin also went on the road as a recruiter when Pete Jenkins couldn’t and went to Tennessee and landed 5* Jacoby Stevens and 5* Jacob Phillips.

Good try though jackass.

well considering that a felon is recruiting kids to come to LSU you don't think coaches will use that against him?

He was never committed to LSU.

Yet now he’s completely out of football.

This whole Saban and Alabama didn't recruit Surtain is a bunch of crap. Surtain and his dad played LSU the whole time

Still believe it was more that Dad played Patrick. The kid really wanted to come to LSU and gave in to his dad's pressure for whatever reason. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Could be Tony Brown 2 when its all said and done , especially if his heart is not in being at BAMA.

You never know how these can't miss guys will turn out. Kevin Tolliver and Tony Brown are prime examples. Compare them to Tredavious White and Mo Claiborne coming out of high school.
