I can't ever remember a player that was talked about so much, yet contributed so little. Except maybe Cecil Collins. Perrilieu, forgot about him.

No.

One of the most under played players…that much I’d agree with…he is/was damn good and justifiably rated as such, just can’t keep him interested enough in the team for him to put himself in harms way actually playing.

I love the revisionist history on Stingley that he sucked last year. Teams didn't even throw to his side of the field. I guess the dunces on here think that if you don't rack up a bunch of INTs as a CB you suck or aren't trying

Well that is good to hear, if true.

It’s not even revisionist

People we’re saying this last year after he played 7 games.

The same guys shitting on him now we’re the people who wrote him off before the 2020 season started, and then again after he missed the opener, and then again after he missed the last 2 games.

Why play a game after UCLA if he just wanted to bail on a losing team

Out of a possible # of games played -
2019 - 15
2020 - 10
2021 - 13

How many games did he play?

2019 - Did he play in all 15?
2020 - Folks are saying 7
2021 - 3? Did he play in 3 games this year?

So he played in a total of 25 of possible 38 games? He missed 13 games over the last 2 years due to injuries?

If he has lingering injuries, the NFL will certainly find it and it may cost him a draft round or 2.

IF not, he will likely be a 1st round pick.... but you can rest assured that NFL front offices will do their homework on him... he is an elite level talent, no doubt and I wish him nothing but the best.

So us dunces should rate him with Pat Pete, TM7, Mo Claiborne, etc etc etc on playing a season and half of his 3 seasons in P&G?

Hey guys look I know I only come to work every other day, but ima frickin stud when I do show up…so how about that raise and COV?

No one can even take you serious in defending 2020 and 2021. You obviously just have an agenda. Dude quit. Period.

By who? Draft experts? LSU fans? He clearly has elite cornerback skills. But there will surely be some questions about his ability to stay healthy. The rest is just noise.

Who’s melting? I think even us dunces knew there wasn’t a snowballs chance in hell he was coming back after this year. Him going pro has always been a foregone conclusion.

He was all conference based upon his play from his freshman year. Everyone knew that at the time.

FIFY

No one would ever question Stings ability or tools, he’s without a doubt elite talent wise. I just don’t think it’s “melting” to question his want to.

I thank him for the up-close and in person view of his game sealing goal line INT against Aubbie, his damn near run back INT against Okie U, and his 100% effort in ‘19. Wish him all the best in a no doubt very bright and lucrative NFL career.
