I never compared Sting to TM7. However, since u brought it up…One was very lightly recruited but played his arse off, then made shitty life decisions that didn’t allow him to continue his career here. Went on to get drafted anyway, and is an annual selection to the Pro Bowl. The other was very highly recruited, played his arse off his frosh year, then made business decisions to not allow himself to be on the field his remaining time here.
Check ur reading, I ASKED if we were supposed to compare Sting to the likes of TM7, Pat Pete, Mo, etc. Also, can u google how many games combined the above 3 mentioned players opted out of?

Agree 100%! Derek Stingley was always about Derek Stingley, not LSU ... a football version of Ben Simmons. Screw him and all the others who are only using LSU as a stepping stone to the NFL or NBA. Sick of them.

To all the so called fans who are criticizing Stingley, who would you rather have on your team Sting or Kirkland?

He was probably 5th to 7th key on the team. He was almost a key in keeping us out of the sec champ game....either he or aranda giving up a couple bombs to get bama back in it. The defense played well last 3 games, but struggled prior to that.

I would be more concerned about him being injury prone. He was a fantastic freshman.

Who are you? I don’t remember any Alabama players playing just their freshman year then coping out the next two years waiting on the draft. LSU must start getting committed players. Not folks like Stingley
