I'm guessing you said the same things about Chase when he opted out of 2020.

Realizing his dreams. He was a baller when he was on the field. He was off the field a lot. Unfortunate. Hope it doesn't affect his draft status.

Nope, I was pissed when Chase opted out. Just like with Sting tho, I wished him the best and cheer for him just like every other Tiger playing on Sundays.

FYI- Chase opted out one time…I think what ur bucking so hard against is the feeling that most think he (Sting) opted out of most or a part of back to back seasons. He played to his ability for the ‘19 season, and then is riding that work into the draft.

He quit in middle of season twice. Chase didn't leave anyone hanging mid season. Both situations are destroying college football though. You wait, in a few years, players will opt out playoffs. I mean, what are they gaining financially in playoffs? It's worth risking your millions for a NC that pays nothing? No different than a "meaningless" bowl game, financially. Watch

I read somewhere Stingley Jr only appeared in 10 of the last 23 games. Good luck to him in his NFL career. He should be pretty healthy for draft day.

Not gonna hate on Stingley, but he seems injury prone and it'll only get worse in the league.

LSU spends more time recruiting players to come play for LSU, than the players actually playing for LSU.
It’s sad how true this is. Derek was recruited hard for 5 years. Kid played for a year and a half.

Stingley has had that farewell spiel written down since January 14th, 2020.

When you’re criticizing him for
quote:

on playing a season and half of his 3 seasons in P&G

Which isn’t true but we’ll move forward

Maybe don’t compare him to a guy who played 2 seasons and had a suspensions for one.

I love Try an as much as the next guy but he played 26 games compared to The 22 Stingley played from 2019-2020

Dude didn't even play the last two years really.
quote:

He played 7/10 games last year. He was all conference

And played in 3/13 this year.
So 10 out of 23 games the last 2 years. Sounds like he didn't really play the last 2 years.

Some of y'all are sad.

Here's a local kid, #1 player in the country, literally could have gone anywhere he wanted, but stayed home and repped LSU, played a significant role on the greatest college team of all time, helped bring home a natty right in the middle of the Bama/Clemson dynasty.

I guess maybe he should have gone to Bama after all.

Sheesh, what a crowd.

Good luck Sting and thank you for 2019.
