He's doing that. I think the same can be said for every football coach--to include the one's that coach the team that beats us. The frustration is the fact that he is losing consistently to one coach--that just happens to be in our division.

Saban is not the antichrist but he is no angel. He treated a lot of people badly inside the program his last year. IMHO this was due being frustrated over personal issues he was facing and the stress over trying to get the right NFL gig on his terms. He was also frustrated with how he perceived to be undue pressure from the fan base after the 2003 NC. The second time around he handled the pressure better at Bama. He is an ego maniac. If you can't see that... then nothing left to say.

Correct. The OP is offering a false set of options. Ideal world - Les Miles stays Les Miles, and stays at LSU - except he becomes detail-oriented and laser focused on improving his coaching philosophy and getting the most out of his team's talent thru personal effort and a staff that actually produces positive results. Asking too much? See Dabo Swinney as one example of that kind of coach. I love Les Miles the person. He does have a great record (by the W/L numbers) at LSU. But his coaching and that of his staff) against Alabama leaves a lot to be desired, as does much of his (and staff's) coaching versus average or low-impact teams.

There is a whole body of work to draw from if you want examples. Eleven years' worth.

Personally I think that TAF/ AD need to sit down with Miles and find out what is the problem with the offense. If it is Cam Cameron that is unable to adjust he needs to go. Also if BDP is responsible for the abortion of special teams play he needs to go. There needs to be a shake up on the offensive side. With so much talent at LSU to continue to run the same shite after it fails (1/9/2012 and Saturday night) changes need to be made!

I can't argue it. The clock is ticking for Les. Saban set up the blueprint for winning in BR but without adjustments, Les is shitting it all away. We won't be able to recruit lights out forever with this kind of coaching.

Everybody loves Les. Absolutely everybody. Heck, did you notice how happy saban looked talking to Les before the game? Saban probably knew our gameplan better than anyone. Saturday night was a complete embarrassment for our football program. We had enough talented players to win, or at least play competitively. Our players deserve schemes that give them an opportunity to do all they can do. I wish Les could do all the things we know he won't.

Saban and bama are a perfect match: An ornery, insensitive win-at-all costs prick and a smug, self-absorbed fan base with no sense of fun or honor.

Give me The Hat any day.

Just came from the poli board and I cant figure out if this thread is about the governor's race or coaches.

Les Miles - 4.3 million (7-1) should be 8

Peveto : $400,000 a year. What a joke. Coach Orgeron is only getting $45,000 more than that clown. Steele is getting $1 million, Cam $1.5 million. Les $4.3 million with a shot at another $850,000. That doesn't include all the endorsements he does. Point is, this much money spent and nothing to show for it but an arse whipping.

Well if you don't think there is a problem running the same shite against Bama every game, every year when it doesn't work and never will work, that is your opinion.

Are you a season ticket holder? Do you pay for TAF fees, the Ticket prices, parking passes? Or, are you one of those that buys a t-shirt every now and then and thinks they should have just a much say so a season ticket holder?

LSU isn't spending shite.

Les Miles + Steele + Cam = 6.8 million.
Saban = $7.0 million and a Mercedes Dealership.

I guess a dealership gets you 5 wins over LSU because 6.8 sure as hell doesn't get you win over BAMA.
