My buddy is getting trounced in Orlando by his coworkers having to deal with yesterday's loss. When he fights back, they move on to the football game. He's great at handling himself, up until the obligatory "frick off and you're fired if you say one more thing", but he needs ammo to deal with these asshats. Help out a tiger fan stuck in Orlando!.....I'll reference this thread for him later.

Just tell them that their baseball coach is about to be hired by South Carolina.

Just suck it up and deal with it. They're Florida fans, they don't greatly give a frick... they'll forget about it by tomorrow.

Tell him to grow up and not argue about frivolous sports competitions!

Tell them congrats, series well-played and end it. And...wasn't great to have an All-SEC championship series? Best possible way to handle it. They are just looking to get under his skin.

Tell him to reply that he's sure the twenty Florida fans that were there really enjoyed the victory.

Ain't nothing to say. Both football this past fall and baseball last night, LSU tripped all over their own nutsacks. They both had opportunities, but couldn't get out of their own way.

Sometimes you just gotta take your medicine. This is one of those times, unfortunately.

I don't believe you. I've been told in other thread that Florida has no fans, and they don't care about college baseball.

So very true. Never hears from them until this shite happens.

ETA: They're usually Alabama fans!

Not one Florida fan I know has ever been to a home baseball game and didn't give two craps about baseball until this morning

While not in person, I work with a ton of UF fans. Not one has mentioned the series, before, during, or after.

I truly believe they have/had no clue UF was playing in it.

My former boss (we still work for the same company) is a big time Gator fan, at least he says he is.

I took the high road, and emailed him this morning congratulating the Gators on a well deserved victory.

He replied, that he was busy last night and didn't even watch the game, or any of game 1.

I had no words. Just going to keep that info in the back pocket till he brags about his Gators and remind him that he's such a big fan, he didn't even pay attention when UF won their 1st Baseball Nat'l Title.

You can't do anything about last night, just be humble, take the beating like a man, and hope that football picks up the slack this year in Gainesville.

Not a single one of his coworkers cares about UF winning the NC.

They're just trolling him because they know he probably cares.

Just tip your cap to them and tell them that they played better and deserved to win. That'll piss 'em off.

You have no idea whether this is true or not.
