I heard the comments, but didn't realize he said #2 (better coach). Really?

Only valid reason to really give for the games IMO.

is this true? We seem to have cut down on penalties a lot this year

I thought we had until the Miss. State game. We were pretty sloppy in that one. I hope that was a fluke.

what's wrong with that reasoning?
LSU plays very well in Alabama.

It's debatable that Bama has a better coaching staff.

And I don't recall LSU being heavily penalized this year...

Alabama may beat LSU..the game is still to be played.
But of all the opinions which I place zero value, Colon- oops Cowherds is at the top of the list.

total mama's boy IMO.

Give them the victory, guess we shouldn't play it.

LSU will not score.

Someone please tell me why I'm wrong.

LSU has a very balanced offense this year with playmakers all over the field.
We can score in many different ways.

The 2 defenses are a push, but LSU's offense is a little better than Bama's.

Regardless, both teams have to play Florida first.

Good point actually.

It's not really a good point considering LSU is 5-2 in the last 7 games in Bryant Denny.

I remember when the knock against LSU was, they couldn't beat Bama in Tiger Stadium.

Cowherd's points are basically 'Captain Obvious' type bullet points of why Bama should NEVER lose a home game. Fortunately, we get to actually play games and sometimes find out otherwise.

Personally, I feel really good about our chances. I really hope we're both undefeated when we go in there. Is should be epic.

I'd wait to both play a real good team like Florida before decidiing if I was Cowherd

Alabama is #6 in the country in penalites at 29.75 yards a game.
LSU is #64 at 52.5 yards a game.

If 23 yards means the difference this year, it should be a hell of a game.

He left out a good reason LSU will beat Alabama. We have a seasoned qb, theirs isn't. The speed issue, is a push. The coaching issue, Saban maybe a tad better, but Les has better asst's than Saban. It is in Alabame, but I believe LSU likes the road, and this one want be any different.

Looked it up because I was curious...

LSU- 26 penalties for 210 yards in 4 games
Alabama- 12 penalties for 119 yards

I agree. I really hate Greenberg, he is by far the least needed person on that show. I still listen, but more because of lack of options.

BTW, those are all valid opinions.
