Stupid. This will only increase the amount you see Bama, Ohio St, UGA, Clemson, etc in the final 4.

The 12th ranked team in the final AP top 25 last year was Utah who finished with a 10-4 record. The regular season is now so much less meaningful. I’m not a sky is falling type of person but get ready to see big time players held out of rent-a-win games for preventative health reasons.

I didn’t realize Saban, Day, Smart, and Dabo are all immortal, and will hold their current positions until the end of time, and all the other schools are incapable of hiring coaches who can build championship caliber teams.

Then dont watch until the final four games crybaby. Will literally be top ten matchups? You wouldn’t want to see 6vs7 8vs 9 and so on? Yes a few may be blowouts but atleast now the smaller schools have a legitimate shot and dont have to claim fake titles if they dont get it. Me personally i am sick of the same 3 damn teams in the playoffs every other year. So yes this is an upgrade stop crying.

I’d much rather see a 3-loss LSU team playing in a meaningful playoff game, than the Citrus Bowl with a bunch of opt outs.
