I think wofford and breaux would get a shot at the open outfield spot (probably right field) before an incoming freshman. Both were solid in the preseason and never got consistent ABs this year, but showed promise. If only we could find a spot for Beau where defense wasnt affected! Maybe if Greg leaves put Bryce at 1st and Beau at DH opening up a 2nd outfield spot.

Wouldn't be shocked to see CPM keep Duplantis in right and give Breaux a shot in center. Best case scenario, Breaux has a Andrew Stevenson type of turn around offensively next season.

What a dick answer

It's a good question. Duplantis was recruited for that, but Breaux appears to cover more ground. If Breaux' hitting came around he could earn the spot. Breaux made that ugly mistake (wasn't ruled an error because he sprinted for it) when he dropped the fly ball that was reviewed and ruled fair. But Duplantis left some plays out there during his first couple of games, too.

Thought he might have been an option for RF if Duplantis moved over. Not surprised though. Adams too I assume.

Again? Unless he's a graduate transfer or goes back to JUCO won't he have to sit out a year?

Zach Watson runs a 6.5 and has effortless power. It would be a travesty to keep him off the field simply because someone is a year older.

All things being equal, and there have been times when LSU has played with three legit centerfielders across the outfield, I'm sure CPM will put his best arm in right field

Ducote and Adams are both crushing in summer ball right now. I don't know how the numbers are going to work and won't pretend to, but I'd like to see them both come back but would completely understand if they didn't.
