You are wrong sir. I went to LSU in the mid to late fifties. I went to Tiger Stadium for games starting in the late forties. Those games were attended by gentlemen and ladies and we knew how to have a good time and celebrate loudly without the juvenile antics of modern day 'swaggas.' You young folks these days who think the highest form of expression is some vulgarity make me sad for out future. Vulgarity has its place - like when you are with friends or drunk in your own trailer. We lost Tiger Rag, they'll probably make new phallic related lyrics to our fight songs and we'll just play Judy Collins before and during the game.
The Fighting Judy Collins is where we are heading.....nice.
From the same guys that changed t-bag Tebow......guess they're all homos.

My grandpa was a life-long die hard. Which was strange as he was a Tulane Grad. Anyway, he sat close to the student section and stood the whole time yelling and embarrassing my grandma. He Screamed and yelled the whole game and never missed a game; home or away (well SEC, didn't travel for non-SEC). He even got told to be quiet at Basketball games and such. The man loved LSU.
Was sad when he no longer could go to games. At least he got to see his team win the championship three times.
I'm like him as far as yelling and not sitting down. I miss the student section, but if people have to not say stupid stuff to keep the music going, then its a thing worth giving up. I would rather hear the band than piped in music.

I like neck. Unfortunately, our students think it's more important to use a phrase than to actually keep playing the song. With that said, the students sucked yesterday overall.

It was about the actions that lead to its removal.
As you said (and which I already pointed out), we have been cycling through songs, at least one of which WAS old school tradition, because of the pointless vulgarity.

Lets clear up a few things
1. They only play neck at a commercial break so you can't hear it on TV anymore
2. some of yall have said the band has only played it twice. Not true they have played it every home game at least once. They played it twice at the oregon game.
3. they did not end neck early vs. Florida...it was the same length as every other time

I'd venture to say that suck that tiger dick was started by the people that added "and beat the shite out of them!" to the end of the first down cheer.
