I dont think its desperation. Its more of a combination of playing to your opponent and shaking up the lineup as a catalyst to get them going again.

I guess anything is worth a try to get some punch back in the lineup. Bregman has never hit well in the post season throughout his LSU career, so maybe this will be the change he and the team need.

Hard to argue with getting potentially your best hitter more at-bats.

At the same time I don't like Sciambra hitting that high, but I guess I also didn't care for Ochinko batting 5th in 09 title game, and that worked out okay.
