The way Chinea been hitting, he needs to bat 9th. Always swing for the fences, and will not hit it where it's pitched.

Yeah. I like bregs better as a 2 hole guy, but I don't mind him hitting lead off.

At the same time I don't like Sciambra hitting that high, but I guess I also didn't care for Ochinko batting 5th in 09 title game, and that worked out okay.
This surprises me a bit, and I'm not a big fan of it either. Should be 7th or 8th imo

He should be hitting 8 or 9, should've moved foster up, he's been seeing it well.

I called it. Who's batting in the 4 spot?

Maineri is freaking out. I hope this team isn't as tight as he is.

I like the move, I just wish we would have shuffled our lineup and experimented more during the season instead of trying to do it now

Yeah, could do that too. I like Foster in the 9 hole though. Really most of the lineup could be moved around with the speed we have and how well they've hit for most of the year.

Hopefully this lineup comes through today.

He looked pretty relaxed in the jersey he was wearing.

I think he is just wanting them to all make a commitment to a brand new season. Right now. Nothing else matters. Just go out and play. He is even wearing a jersey for the first time in years. Just changing things up.

What happened to the last LSU coach that went 2 and Q in Omaha on back to back trips?

He stopped recruiting big time talent that could make it college, and the program stopped making it to Omaha. Costing him his job.

That and Sammy's

He just gets way too uptight in these big games and it runs off on the team IMO.

We erased his name from history...

Cant blame him for changing the lineup, it hasn't been working for weeks.

I don't like it....of course LSU doesn't have a quintessential lead off guy.

Personally I'd rather see Stevenson or Fraley there instead of Bregman.

Although I do like that the moved Laird out of there.

I think this is an undeniable fact. After the game on Sunday I thought he was gonna cry.

Not a particularly desirable quality in a coach......but what the hell do I know the next game I coach in Omaha will be my first.

When it comes to motivating and managing team psychology, Mainieri is about as far away from Bertman as it gets.

I would just like to see the team come out loose and relaxed out there today.
