Has Bama recovered from losing at home to UL-Monroe, possibly the most embarrassing loss in the history of college football?

I can't think of another worse loss by any major program. Appy State was a strong team when they beat a weaknened Michigan team.

He's kissing up to his market. He's probably a Bama shitbird himself. You gotta see it for what it is.

I hate to be a realizt, but I bet that Bama beats our butts in TS. How many of you believed that we would beat Bama, on their home field, I for one, didn't think we would win in Tusc. I think that Bama will win it all again next year. Bama has the best coach in the country, and he'll be at Bama for many years to come. Saban will be Bear number two, and probably exceed the Bear's record.

I don't give a frick. The fact this guy is bringing it up shows how they are trying to validate the bs that went down last season.

LSU and Bama split the series last year and LSU had a better season. Bama got to be NC because of the fricked up system. shite ain't fair and life goes on.

LSU taking it all home this year anyways.

Right. Whittingham, an excellent HC I think. USC had better watch out for this guy in 2012.

Coach Bryant won the conference 13 times in a 20 year stretch. UA, this century, has won it once. If you are referring to Coach Saban's record at UA and LSU, that's 3. Only 10 more to go. It ain't happening. Great coach, no doubt, but it ain't happening.

No matter how they got matched up, the writer's question about getting undressed in front of the world is correct and valid.

How will LSU respond to that epic display of futility?

i agree, but then again, i don't. if jefferson was returning, i think you could question how the team would respond. if he were the qb, and played bad vs washington, how would the team react ? would it start qb controversy? would it divide the team, ect? but the fact that mettenberger is the guy, and the team has 100% confidence in him, i don't see the point in the question. sure, there are plenty of players coming back from that arse kicking, but i think having a new qb, and one they trust, kind of answers the question in itself. i know mettenberger is a question mark, because he's unproven, but anyone who watched LSU for the past 4 years, knows the current qb situation can't be any worse. personally, i think we have a championship caliber qb, but that's yet to be seen. also, mettenberger is on record saying the team is going to play with a "pissed off" attitude, because of what happened in new orleans.

Does anyone realize we could beat Bama 5 years in a row by an average of 3 TD's and a majority of them are still going to bring up 1/9.

"21-0 RTR! You can't come to Bama without tripping over a championship, getting 15* next year!!!"

They are going to talk trash no matter what, that's all they have/get to do over there.

What he wrote is shite fans, not journalists, not even columnists should write. Its inflamatory and basically nonsense. The only place the "negative" energy exists is in the minds of delusional gumps and the anti-Miles squad.
No, what he wrote was an obivious, inevitable question (that any 3rd grader could come up with) that tries to find an 'angle' or a controversy to engage the reader. It's an age old journalistic trick and you fell for it by 'getting mad' about it.

What he wrote was all true, every sentence. No, he doesn't owe us a mention of Utah or any other Bama loss. It's simply up to the Tigers to slam shut the door on 1/9 this season, one game at a time.

This.

I'm not saying the Tigers have been eternally damned to futility because of that horrible, horrible beating so everyone needs to lighten up a bit.
Me neither. In fact, I DON'T think this will have anything but a POSITIVE effect on the Tigers (so much for being negative, huh). I think they will use it as fuel to kick everyone's arse. I just don't think it's an unusual question for a Bama "journalist" to ask.

If I recall right, the Utes were like 60-70th in recruiting the 4 years prior.
KW got a lot out of those classes to beat mighty Saban and those gump asses.

At least LSU lost to a perennial top talent team.
