Has Bama recovered from losing at home to UL-Monroe, possibly the most embarrassing loss in the history of college football?

I'd say so

No. A realist would have gotten over it Jan 10th. The fact that LSU won 24 games in two seasons with that QB situation is a miracle. It was going to catch up to us eventually. The best way for it to happen was....

Drum roll...

Putting a team against us that had already lost to us twice during that time span.

Funny how it took a genius three chances to beat JJ with two of his best teams. I look at Jan 9th and laugh.

How will LSU respond to that epic display of futility?

You do realize that was a different team, right? That was last year. Several of those players got drafted. Who the hell knows what 2012 has in store, but as soon as LSU loses another game, I guarantee you losers like many posters here and the Bham writer will point to 1/9/12 like losing the Mulligan Bowl somehow had something to do with it.

OK whatever. And stop whining about playing them twice. That's more pansy that rehashing our epic championship game asswhipping, IMO.

Yeah but the stink of that Jan. 9th bomb could last a while. That's what the writer is asking and it's valid.

Right,and it might not,either. Good grief,man. We get it -- you're a realist.

I understand this d-bag doesn't know the real mindset of this LSU team, but neither do you. None of us do, so how can you say we're over it for sure?

I'm not. I'm just pointing out the obvious. Why can I not call it the Mulligan Bowl? Do you not agree that Bama had the best chance of beating us in Jan due to the fact that they have a close history with us? The "experts" knew this as well, and Bama erasing the loss on 11/5 was what they wanted. They got what they wanted. More power to them. I, personally, could care less at this point. I think the whole situation was funny, but for different reasons than you would.

No. It won't. This team is better this year. You know this.

LOL. NEAUX.

The writer is a typical media/Bama douchebag whose sole purpose is to pump up the media darlings and try to put teams like LSU in "it's place". That's all. You are buying it.

If you have been paying any attention to what the players have been saying and how hard they have been working then you would know it is not a valid question.

REALLY??? So since the players, and coaches for that matter, have been saying "We're ready for the season and have been working hard", then that means they're over it?

So using your logic if the players were truly not over the game, they would be saying, "Man, the BSCNC game is still burning in my stomach. I can't get any sleep at night, and it affecting the way we're preparing for the upcoming season." REALLY?

Actually most bama fans are okay. They egg me when we lose and I egg them back when they lose.

There are the bama retards who take their losses personally and hate any team that can and do beat bama. Those you just stay away from. They're typically a pretty ignorant bunch anyway. They can't seem to handle the automatic checkout.

Using your logic the Bama writer and their fans are correct and that game set us back 20 yrs and we'll be lucky to go 5-7. Why don't you just wave a white flag ?

No douchebag. My logic is that NOBODY knows, and we won't until this team gets on the field.

And I'm going to laugh when the game doesn't count again and the media declares Bama the real winner.

WTF are you talking about? Determining and judging the mindset of LSU players is a job reserved for LSU coaches. I agree it's just throwing fuel of the fire, but it was a horrific loss and premise of the question is not out of line. The same was asked of Oklahoma and Ohio State after they were raped in champinship game. LSU is a big boy and can take their medicine after the shite show that was 1/9.

You're probably right, and I believe you are. But you can't be 100% sure.

So the morning of January 9, 2012 when Les Miles told us his team was prepared, you bought it like the rest of us. But the difference is you still buy it.
