Daryl Johnson DB from OP Walker. Was in the same class as Buster Davis (2003). Remember people were really excited about him, but never made it to campus I believe.

he made it to Southern though, and sucked balls there

Akiem Hicks

The answer to this thread was Chad Lavalais about 5 times before he finally saw the field.

Anyone remember Neal Gunn from Neville back in 1960 or maybe a year earlier.

My vote is for Delvin Breaux. I think he would have been an amazing DB.

Recent eligible candidates:

Zach Lee
Lavelle Hawkins
Phil Loadholt
Matt Stoltz
Barrington Edwards
Amp Hill
Daryl Johnson
Sidell Corley
Antonio Robinson
Zhamal Thomas
Phelon Jones
Charles Deas
Jarvis Jones
DeAngelo Benton
Dominique Allen

Derrick Odom
Ernest McCoy
Jordon Corbin
Carneal Ainsworth
Drayton Calhoun
Akiem Hicks
Brandon Worle

Loadholt and Hawkins are in the NFL, so it would probably have to be one of those two.

Lee was the most notable one.

The bolded ones are still in college or have eligibility I think.

Corbin had a career ending injury but was supposed to be an all world TE.

Some of those guys like Daryl Johnson, Drayton Calhoun, Ernest McCoy, Jarvis and Phelon Jones were supposed stud recruits though.

Who was the DB that ended up at Oklahoma? Saban recruited him but I am not sure if he actually signed. May have been a Nick something.

I remember that guy...I don't think Walter Jones was his name, though. I remember it being a head-scratcher though. He was drafted really, really late. He was offered like a $10,000 signing bonus and still went. I think he ended playing college football again, also.

check his wiki. he made it to the bigs for a little bit and is the answer to the trivia question "Who has the highest BMI of any player in league history?" answer is Walter Young at 38.2

Terry Bradshaw. Not 100% sure if he was a signee, but he was testing for admission to LSU and failed.

Stan Humphries?

Not sure if he ever played a down. I know he transferred to ULM and had a long NFL career.

What was it he use to say? I took the act and my score was a 15 and his high-school counselor said yes if you add them up.
