re: Does anyone have film of the 1970 LSU-Notre Dame game - Fred439 on 8/23/15 at 5:15 pm
I was there. Believe it or not, I cashed in almost 90 books of S & H Green stamps to get 2 Delta tickets to Chicago. All flights out of N. O. were booked solid when I cashed them in, so I booked from Memphis to Chicago. When we got on the plane the whole plane erupted to see LSU fans board in Mem...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: I need some help with beef tenderloin roast - Fred439 on 7/12/15 at 4:19 pm
Cook it like a nice steak. I assume you want it rare or medium rare, so whatever you do don't cook it several hours. A tenderloin is usually long and tapered with one end being thin and small like tips and the other end 4 inches or so in diameter. That allows one to cook part of it quite rare whi...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Traveling to and from MD Anderson - Fred439 on 4/22/15 at 9:45 am
You can get a great hotel and a very low rate (comparatively speaking) from The Rotary House. Call them to get the details as I think you need a MD Anderson patient number to stay there. Good Luck.. re: Need new kitchen knife set - Fred439 on 12/28/13 at 8:49 pm
I'd go with Chicago Cutlery stainless with the walnut handles. Not sure of the name as Chicago Cutlery has many sets. They have a lifetime warranty and I have had several replaced over the years free. Because they have a stainless steel blade they can be sharpened. Check E Bay and look for a 62 ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: Stop Loss/Limit Orders - Fred439 on 7/30/13 at 3:40 pm
True story. Several years ago I bought 300 shares of Apple at $15/share. Gradually over 6 months it climbed to $22 or 23 a share. One day it dropped a coouple of points, and worried that I might lose my profit, I called in a stop loss at $20/share. Next day it dropped to $19 and a fraction for a...
