Really. You don't watch alot of football. That place was a dumster fire when he got to Austin. He conducted over 200 drug screens in the last 7 months. Texas is actually playing good defense just needs a few years to get his system in.

If we wait until we "don't contend" the next couple of years it will be too late.

the funny part is that he mentions Texas, this portion of the Miles tenure is starting to look like Mack Brown's at UT.

really the first school he listed is probably the best case for not standing idly by while the ship takes on water

Honestly I'm just ready for a change. Les isn't a bad coach but he's been here 10 years. Sometimes when coaches are at somewhere too long the program gets stale. That's exactly what happened here.

but we weren't gonna be good this year anyway

Why do people say this? Because we lost a lot to the NFL? So did Bama and they are still strong, dispite a loss to Ol Miss. TAM lost a lot and they don't seem to be hurting as bad as LSU.

Miles is a very good recruiter but he sucks as a coach. Every year he loses games he should not and looks like a lost monkey in the process.

yep, it is very similar to texas. They waited years too long and we see the problem.

Auburn nipped theirs in the bud, they won a nc in 10, gene proceeded to shite himself for 2 years and they canned him. they play in the nc game the very next year.

IMO if we miss a bowl the change has to be made, gene was at least able to get to a bowl in his bad season and then got fired for missing a bowl.

It's amazing that I was able to get behind threads like this a few weeks ago. Feel like a veil has finally been lifted. Miles is done because he refuses to adapt. Plain and simple he needs to go.

fwiw if we make a change the TAF is going to have to be in charge. I don't trust joe to be able to handle hiring a football coach.

Uh, no. Les would have jumped either time if Mich had offered

I think thats why hes so down in the dumps lately. Mich is going looking, and his name is not on the list, once again
