but barry, that's not the point.

the OP, and alot of others, are trying to make the point that if we make a coaching change, we could end up in situations like the ones that went awry, so LSU should never ever make a coaching change because of that.

my point is that just because a few situations have gone south doesn't mean that every coaching change out there will, hence why i posted examples of ones that have gone in the right direction.

obviously i don't know where LSU's would head, but citing bad examples is a shitty way of trying to make the OP's point.

So you listed schools who made bad hires? Way to strengthen your narrative. The SEC has passed Miles by deal with it

LMAO. Lets hear youre reasoning for knowing this so matter of factly. Maybe u can break it down for us that still support the HC and staff?

James Franklin would get more out of the talent we have. Just my 2 cents.

Do you remember where Auburn and Moo St were under previous coaches

Did you see what they did to Miles team?

Are you remotely being serious?

Yep OP laughs at some possibilities but guarantee you if Miles name was up for coaching jobs those schools fans would be laughing their asses off just as he is about other coaches.

Anyone else.

Art Briles would be my first choice though.

Why do people say this? Because we lost a lot to the NFL? So did Bama and they are still strong, dispite a loss to Ol Miss. TAM lost a lot and they don't seem to be hurting as bad as LSU.

Miles is a very good recruiter but he sucks as a coach. Every year he loses games he should not and looks like a lost monkey in the process.

We've lost over double the amount of players Alabama or any other team has since 2011....However we should at least be competitive!

Was Miles on the radar in 2004?

Saban in 2000?

No one should pay any attention to you for backing a coach to stay here, when he came here with a 28-21 record. You arent willing to accept someone like that today are you?

And the team Saban left was much stronger than this one that Miles will be leaving

Les loves LSU so at least give him a little respect for all he's done for us
this comment makes me laugh.

I'm sure Chizik loved Auburn.
I'm sure Mack Brown loved Texas.
I'm sure Hoke loves Michigan.
I'm sure freaking Houston Nutt loved both Arkansas and Ole Miss.

FWIW it took him like 6-7 years to make that team decent. What happens when his upperclassmen are gone and Prescott isn't there anymore?

Rich Rod Offense with an Ed O defense would be nasty

I didn't know who Hugh Freeze, Kevin Sumlin or Dan Mullen were before the hiring.

And Miles was what, 28-21 at Oklahoma St. when we hired him?

See where I'm going with this?
