We know Trent can win with Brady's players (last year) but we haven't seen him win with his recruited players. I have not seen one good Trent recruit. Taz, Spence, and Storm were all recruited by Brady.

This whole winning with other people's players is the biggest myth perpetrated in sports. With the average amount of time coaches spend at a school, virtually everyone is winning with someone else's players.

Brady lost with virtually the same group the previous year, minus Taz, but plus an NBA first-round draft pick. (and lost big).

So you know and have talked to everyone associated with LSU, and most of the people at Samford. OK.

Are you saying you played for Brady at LSU?

Teacher-Bo and Storm fell into Brady's lap. Bo was maybe the fifth option for Brady at that position, Storm was definitely headed elsewhere before the bottom fell out on Brady with G. Monroe AND T. Henry. After those two were not available Storm was offered. Also, Brady felt the pressure of not letting another good Glen Oaks player (Ryan Francis) escape from his on backyard for someone like B. Voogd.

Name me one former player (even when Brady was still here) who either liked him or respected him to the point that they stayed in touch with him after their college career

I just have a simple question for Brady supporters.

Is his stint at LSU as a whole considered a successful run?

And before you answer, you CAN NOT ignore the fact that he had EIGHT seasons without a winning SEC record out of 11.

Wake up, dummy. Nothing in those quotes definitely said he played at LSU. I know that is probably what he was saying, but I wanted confirmation.

If the next coach has as many NBA defections and injuries, he won't do any better. The only thing that kept Brady from being a legend was the above. With the current LSU record, why are the NEGATIGERS still having so much trouble understanding reality?

Beatles - have you ever supported the firing of a coach at LSU or at any other school?

The real question is, will there EVER be a coach at LSU that the NEATIGERS don't want to fire?

yep, Paul Mainieri (for now)

Your turn now - is there a single coach you've ever thought should be fired?

Dude what you can't seem to understand is all those things are BRADY'S own fault. He should have recruited better so that:
A- so many kids wouldnt leave early.

and

B- more depth so that an injury or two won't totally kill your team that year.

Can't think of a single one can you? If you were the AD, Smoke would still be coaching baseball

Not every recruit will work out the way a coach plans. This happens for even the best teams every year. Aaron Dotson is Trent’s premier recruit this year, a top 100 player and he is averaging only one basket per game more than Voogd did as a freshman and he has a lower assist average. Dotson has started most games and has played significantly more than Voogd did as a freshman. Why not compare Turner’ performance to Torris Bright once his LSU career gets underway.

I can't believe you are that dense. Yeah, shame on Brady for recruiting all the SEC freshman POY and SEC POY. Shame on Brady for not having even more All-Americans types so if anything happens he just sticks in another identical replacement part. But Rod Serling, it's good to see you're an LSU fan!
