You forgot the NBA defections. But, you're gettin' there. Now that you have admitted that injuries can kill a team, throw in the NBA defections, and Voila!!

Yes they can kill a TEAM. Not a PROGRAM. Brady had a joke of a program here. That's why he was fired.

Wrong. I have never complained about TJ. I have only brought up TJ to show that all of the things that the NEGATIGERS said were Brady's fault are still happening.

Brady won the SEC and went to the Final Four less than two years before he was fired. Then, the team he had already assembled won the SEC the very next year after he was fired. Please, please, Trent, keep this joke going! You my friend are

Ok 2 things.

Marcus Thornton and Bo Spencer were totally different players under TJ. No way can u say Brady could have done that b/c he wasn't even playing Spencer.

And two, does Brady have anything to do with our failures this year bud? Man this program sure was stocked full of talent wasn't it haha

Thornton was not the player he was due to any coach. Silly! Bo completely blows your argument sky high. He is the player that everyone on this board complains about this year. Did TJ coach him down this year? F A I L ! As for this year's talent, TJ could have brought in 1 or 2 All-American types just like Brady regularly did. If that had happened, we would be fine. Not Brady's fault!

Happens to MULTI-CHAMPIONS. Just ask Visor Boy, Tubby Smith, Fulmer, etc... Just stroll on over to the trophy room and you'll be :beatdeadhorse: yourself for that dumb decision.

Looking at LSU basketball this year I see a couple of problems.

You guys are averaging more turnovers than assists (that is never a good thing)

Over 70% of your scoring comes from your top 3 guys. If they get in foul trouble or are having a off night...

You need to recruit another big baby to have any chance to compete in the sec, let alone big dance.

Main problem - John Brady, is gone.

Next year we are looking good with the players Trent are bringing in. 4 Top 150 recruits (if Ross Miller commit which is likely), a 6'9, 240 pound center transfer from Ole Miss and a 6'8,210 SF/PF hybrid.

We'll have a pretty good starting lineup next year and lot of depth, some with good experience.

2011 and 2012 we could be deadly.

If you are talking about 2010-2011, I hope you are joking. There is no way LSU will be good that year. The absolute best i can see is a 6-10 conference record. That would be a huge longshot.

If you are talking about 2011-2012, there is a chance you could be decent. It all depends on who you recruit. If you can pull a kentucky, well you could be the best team in the league. with that said though, you wont. That year is totally up in the air but you wont contend for the sec unless everything falls into place. Ill give you at best 10-6.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Dale proved with his 15 postseason appearances in a row that we can do better than 5 postseason trips in 11 yrs.

I agree with your statement and just wanted to quote this to illustrate the importance of proper punctuation. One missing comma and this statement is something totally different.
