Most of us read Grisham novels, right? He has a gift for exposing corruption, inequities, injustice, etc., especially in the South. His current novel is about a crooked Florida judge, in cahoots with sharp southern criminal making boatloads of cash off an impoverished Florida Indian tribe's casino and surrounding developable land.
I wonder if Grisham has the stones to take on this travesty???
Surely, one of you bright people who know him can plant that seed.
Call me what you want, but I think the OPs argument is sound...
What say you Mr Grisham???
They're effing up your team, too, with their chicanery...

you act like Bama is the only school to pay players. I would put some money that almost every power 5 conference school give players money.

All that is true but LSU can beat them with a better offense

I don't think Bama engages in rampant cheating. Saban is simply talented and relentless. He also has the benefit of being able to truthfully say that enrolling at Alabama is a near guaranteed path to national championships and the NFL. Once other SEC schools begin to beat them on the field, their recruiting will decline.

It doesn't matter the ranking of your recruiting class, what matters is getting them to play to the top of their ability. Look at Notre Dame, there roster is filled with 4 and 5 star recruits, but their record doesn't show it.

If you took what I said as whining, you need a psych eval. I am just acknowledging what every other fans knows.

So since LSU was neck and neck with UA for 3.5 quarters and only lost by ten points, does this mean that LSU is cheating too?

Because this game, just like most every UA/LSU game was about as tight as a game can be.

Someone is finally noticing. Have an up vote, but don't tell anyone because they will just lump me in with the other conspiracy 'kooks'...

Saban is a good coach but he was a complete failure as an NFL coach.

Agreed. This thread is bad and the OP should feel bad.

They all "compete" for talent. Oh, the horror that a high profile kid may be infatuated with playing for the best college coach in history and might come away with a NC ring.

To be the man, you have to beat the man.....not whine about it.

From reading this board you would think that UA beat LSU like they did UT.

You forgot he's the only university that's allowed to have pro players actually practice with his team.

This is 100 % wrong he inherited the worst team in the nfl and went 9-7 then his owner sold the team he lost control and still went 6-10. There are probly 7-10 teams who did worse during that time so "complete failure" is nowhere near the way to describe his nfl tenure.

completely irrelevant. The NFL and college football are entirely different games.
