Anyone have experience watching LSU games in Europe?

I'll be out of the country for all of football season. Does WatchESPN work over there or is that restricted based on location?
Any other services I can use?

You need to spoof an US IP address to use WatchESPN. Get a slingbox and pay a buddy a case of beer to hook it up to one of his cable boxes.

Where are you going? Some major cities have American sports bars. For smaller cities/late games, I downloaded a VPN called "Private Internet Access (PIA)". It allows you to connect to an American IP, giving you access to watchESPN.

I was in England during the regionals and super regionals once. Bought a slingbox before I left and it was money.

Yes on AFN, sorry I can't help you out

Ya I usually google like hell until I find reviews pointing that a certain bar has ESPN, which can take awhile.
For a longer stay I'd take the advice of the others for more permanent solutions.

LSU has never played in Europe, so no.
Sorry. I knew what you meant. Couldn't resist.

Watched LSU-Auburn 2010 in Bahrain on AFN.
Met some Turkish American-Football players in turkey in summer 2012 that wouldn't stop talking to me about Tyrann Matheiu when they saw my LSU shirt haha. So they obviously get college football out there somewhere.
Was pretty awesome how these guys on the other side of the world were obsessed with him. And that's just a random group I happened to run into

I have been watching LSU games in Europe for 87 years . Love every year more than the last. I watched the 1958 National Title on the 75 inch 4k ultra HD TV at my favorite Pub.

If you are in a reasonably large city it shouldn't be to hard to find a pub who will have it.

This is my thought as well.
Not quite the same, but we managed to catch a Saints-Seahawks game in Brussels a few years. I think if its a big enough game, you'll find a pub that will have ESPN fairly easily

Are pubs open until 5 AM though?

SlingBox, not to be confused with SlingTV. Hooked it up at my Mom's, access her cable through web browser anywhere.
You can also get a pay-for VPN service that will let you watch ESPN through a US IP. Then you just need a family or friends cable login to access. You can try some free VPN like Hola Better Internet, but their security may be questionable.

You can access it through the app as well. Whether it be a mobile device or an iPad.. or if you have a roku stick on your tv you can load sling app through it to your tv!
Slingbox is pretty cool, but it will require you hooking it up to a cable box back at home or at a family/friend's place.. it will need to be hooked up the the wifi or ethernet.. and you can access all your cable channels through it. The good thing is that whoever is by that tv can still watch tv as well as you slinging it. but you will each see the same thing.. so if you change the channel from the app.. it will change for them as well.
I got a used Slingbox 500 for around $150
Of course you can always watch online via sports streaming sites.. or you can get a proxy and watch with your login info via watchespn.. etc.
