re: Leonard Fournette is a great human being - cupchu1
who'd be digging ditches in any other country.
Actually, skill position players would probably be playing soccer. Up for debate which is a worse career path. ...

re: How every single one of you is not on the OLs case is beyond me - cupchu1
My favorite was when the announcer could hardly say "Syracuse rushes three" before a man was in Etling's face. After rushing three. THREE....

re: A timeout to get the ball back....... then a knee - cupchu1
It's really not that unheard of to call a timeout there and see if you can block the punt, make a big return, get a shanked punt, or a snap over the head. You lose nothing by making them kick the ball....

re: Teachers: Fighting Burnout? - cupchu1
If you're not married, don't have kids, etc try moving abroad for a year or two to teach English. With 8 years experience it should be easy to get a job. Decent way to basically take time off of work to do some traveling. ...

re: Vehicle features you now couldn't do without - cupchu1
Heads up display (speedometer specifically). Whenever I'm driving not my car I have minor heart attacks when I realize I haven't paid attention to how fast I'm going. Same with back up sensors, but I'm sure I could replace that with a camera. ...

re: watching in rome - cupchu1
Bull shite. I'm in Ghent, and I'd love to know if there is a way.
Same, but in Madrid. There are Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King, and Five Guys galore here, but nowhere to watch American football. Shame, because nightlife in Madrid lasts until the sun comes up, so if somewhere d...

re: Why didn't Real buy Mbappe? Could they really not afford him? - cupchu1
Absolutely... Their owners want UCL titles, not the French league...
While absolutely true that both clubs go for UCL above everything else, they've played against each other in UCL one time. And it was the group stage. I'm not sure €200 million just to prevent Mbappé from going to...

re: Why didn't Real buy Mbappe? Could they really not afford him? - cupchu1
Or you could do like the Warriors and destroy your oppositions' chances before anything even begins. When you can add talent like Mbappe at a young age like this, you do it every single time.
PSG isn't quite Real's opposition, though. They might meet in UCL, but is that really reas...

re: Why didn't Real buy Mbappe? Could they really not afford him? - cupchu1
Difficult question. I believe Zidane thought they would get him, but the Real office wanted him to stay in Monaco one more season. I know Mbappé's family thinks highly of Zizou, so it's disappointing they couldn't come to an agreement. Mbappé really wasn't a necessity for Real, though. All of the...

re: Learning to play soccer as an adult - cupchu1
My family plays every Sunday for a couple of hours. We started in March and have developed some semblance of skill. Dribbling is very hard, but if you have a background in basketball you should understand the gist of what you want to do when you're running at a defender. Like others have said, t...

re: 3 Weeks solo in Spain - A recount of my journey - cupchu1
Costa Brava seemed more secluded, and apparently more of a vacation spot for wealthier folks, so alot of houses and whatnot as opposed to big hotels and resorts. More "Mediterranean" I'd say.
Sounds great, that's exactly what I'm looking for (assuming I find something for relativel...
ynlvr
I kind of brushed off the islands because I figured they'd be too expensive to be worth it, but I'll definitely give it a look.
rintintin
Those shots of your cliff jumps were beautiful, I'll check out some places along there! Was mostly looking at Andalu...

re: Trip to Europe - cupchu1
The reason I want to go to France was to visit Normandy. I am really interested in WWII, castles, and beautiful scenery.
At some point in your life, go. It would be very easy to end a future trip in the north of France, even if you don't want to stay in Paris long. In fact, I'd rec...

re: Trip to Europe - cupchu1
If it were me planning the trip, I'd look to the future. Where else would you like to go in Europe? Create your own regions and try to knock one out each time you go. Example: Say you want to go to Paris the most. I'd suggest going to Amsterdam and Brussels as well, if those cities interest you ...

Awesome pics. Glad you liked Madrid. Apparently it's hit or miss for some, but it's one of my favorite European cities. Also, ¡Hala Madrid! Since you mentioned some fantasy type stuff, thought you (or someone reading this) might find it interesting that the plaza you posted a picture of in Sevil...
