And hell yeah, I thought we could score 15 points in an entire quarter of football and so did everyone else at the party I was at.

And there's the problem. Keep on doing something that's clearly not working, and pray for a different result. Brilliant philosophy.

Through 3 quarters, when we got down 15-0, we had gained 66 total yards of offense.

In the fourth quarter, doing the same thing, we exploded for 26 more yards.

Anything is better than the Jefferson/Lee era

Here's the problem. Anyone can play arm chair coach.

How many times in the game of football, has a team been completely outplayed and had a big 4th quarter and came back to win?

It happens all the time.

No one gave up! Thats not debatable.

Not really, I believe Miles & Cam failed both prospects (Especially Harris).

I believed at the time, our defense was going to make a big play in that game until the very end.

Depending on the defense to score points because the offense is completely inept. Thats a good gameplan.

Im sure you had hope that we could comeback in the 4th qtr, because you believe in LSU football. But most unbiased people did not.

There was nothing in qtr 1 through 3 that would lead anyone to believe a big play was about to happen. Their defense shut down every play before it began. 2011 AND 2016. At somepoint, you have to make a change.

IMHO

Maybe Miles/Cam hit found lightening in a bottle for once. It does help that he had OBJ,Juice,Jeremy and Turner on that offensive roster.

Nevertheless, I would love to know what Miles and Cam came up with to get Harris and Jennings to come here. Because both should have avoided LSU tbh.

Nice one!

Im with you. Whether its Narcisse or Brennan that wins the job next yr, as soon as one of them plays poorly learning the craft, this board will be on fire about changing QB's.
That's a guaranteed bet in here.

Talking about ignorance like, he was all that back in high school.....

Ohhh the melt if neither one wins the job!!!

Miles put jj on the bench, brought in jl, and he made a big play and we ran the clock out.
Seems like I recall JJ hurting his hand, but still a good series by JL.
I don't hate Lee, but have enough sense to realize his ineptitude vs Bama, or any really good D.
He even had an awful homecoming game vs LaTech defense when they got after him with some stunts.

JJ came back from injury

WTF? You must mean the injuries of that kid he kicked the shot out of. Of the many revisionist stories I've read, like Mayhaw and rickdaddy (who must be alters) saying JJ was the next Brett Farve, saying JJ was out because he was injured is the worst.

I shouldve added special teams, but I really believed someone somehow would make a big D/ST play that would ignite the offense. They had done it all year long.
A sound philosophy when you consider we had a ton of players off that defense get drafted and it was full of play makers.

I certainly never gave up on that team that night and no one I was with did either until the final TD.

I dont understand why you think since LSU didnt change QB's, they just gave up and quit.

But, have it your way, Im done.

No, I mean when he broke his wrist and missed the first half of the season. I never said he was the next great NFL QB, I said he wasnt a bust (a wasted scholarship) at LSU.
