Then why did Ohio St, Mich, Texas Auburn all have crappy seawons somewhere in the last 6 years

again - you're supporting my argument. Ohio State won the national championship with a third-string QB. Auburn made it to the NC game with Nick Freaking Marshall at QB.

Good coaches must be able to adapt their offense to the skill set of their QB.

Square peg, round hole? That's on the coaches.

Well LSU fans like to shite on their own... Doesn't matter if it is players, former coaches, anything. Also doesn't matter if they won, had success, or failed they all sucked

Urban Meyer and a team full of NFL draft picks.
Auburn? It was Malzahn or Miles the loser of that game was gone.
Quit making my point. Just understand he was a good coach and always had LSU in the thick of things, no matter what for 12 straight years in the toughest division in football. Who couldve done this, who has done this? We're still waiting on this, quit spinning.

Come on man, youre smarter than this. I can tell, you know some football. Dont understand the hate for the previous coach? Did he do anything right?

What NFL team is winning with poor QB play?
Some of these teams havent found one in 2 decades. But let the previous coach have 2 years without one playing in the toughest division plus Florida and the TCU/Wisconsin's every year and now all of a sudden, hes a terrible coach?

I don't understand why you're still rehashing Harris and Jennings, a new era has started at LSU as you said, move on.

Since the birth of rantards the back up QB has always been the best QB on the LSU roster.

I remember when everyone wanted Randall over Mauck in 02-03.

Yep. BH ran for 1200 yards his senior year of HS against some damn good competition. Gets to LSU, they put him under center and he hardly ever leaves the pocket.

It was a dumb experiment. He should've been in a spread offense with plenty of read option. al a clemson, ohio state

I can just hear it already, with who wins the job between Narcisse and Brennan next year.
First bad game either has learning their craft and half of this board will be screaming for the backup. Now thats a guaranteed bet.

He wouldnt have played a meaningful down at either of those schools.
They werent asking him to do much, here. He chose LSU and that was his decision. He has to take at least 50% of the blame, if he is blaming anyone.
Its not like they put the entire game plan on his shoulders. The previous staff made Fournette the focal point of the offense and did put most games on him and the OL shoulders.

He hurt the coaches and Fournette as much if not more than they did to him. It works both ways.

Maybe, just possibly, he just wasnt able to adjust to NCAA football.
He wouldnt be the first that couldnt make the transition, from a stellar high school career into college or a stellar college career into the NFL.
Happens all the time. Was it the system or the player?
This always gets brought up with the "what if" players.

We'll find out soon enough with the Tar Heels.

Imagine tRant banghead emoji explosion from taking carries away from LF and DG

Harris just never looked like a very good option QB, especially with keys.
Not near good as JJ who was the very definition of "square peg, round hole".

Whether it was JJ, Harris, or Jennings, I am glad to see them out of the picture. JJ never had it nor did Jennings. Harris, I wasn't crazy about but will give him the benefit of the doubt given that he was saddled with Cameron and Miles. Hopefully he does better at his new place.

Show me a coach with bottom 10% QB play that wouldve done better in this conference against these defenses?

Name him? We're listening.

Show me a coach that can take not one but two 4-star QB's one the #3 ranked dual threat in the nation - 24/7 composite and the other the #14 pro style QB in the nation - 24/7 composite and wind up with the bottom 10% QB play in the conference.

Name him? We're listening.

Definitely. I'm will be following him closely. It should tell us a lot about Les' and Cam's QB coaching ability/scheme.

Like we already dont know enough.

Damn, i have to agree with Ree.

There's no way that Jefferson, Lee, Jennings, and Harris we ALL complete busts. Its just not logical.
