i have no reason to believe he's got attitude issues. i was indirectly complimenting him and being positive about his situation. i was just pre-emptively cutting off the "RP and TM7 got kicked off for drugs. it's serious business!" responses

Yeah, I saw your list - agree and good list.

Just feel like the majority of speculation is self-serving

Regardless of the issue, if I were Key, all I'd want to hear from people is that they are in support, wishing me the best and hoping to see me back ASAP.

I definitely agree with you post. Just as a big fan you can't help but to wonder what's going with our best defensive player. I'am pray for him and wishing him the best

Ok so let the down votes begin. My brother is in the same circle as key and others. He will be back in August he failed a piss test for weed 2 times. O told him to go get his shite together his Mom and sister talked with him and to make his mother happy he "Key" is on a religious retreat. He promised his mom that he will get better and do better.

A golf buddy of mine has a saying after someone has made a weak attempt at a big putt:

"That was a putt from a guy who doesn't like money."

Seems to be what Key is doing.

Sounds plausible to me. Good for him and his family for coming together to get shite straight, assuming this is true.

Side note: For frick's sake, can we just legalize weed?

legalization probably wouldn't solve this problem, b/c you'd also have to reverse course at the NCAA, SEC, and school levels

Yes, I know. But legalization would logically lead us down that path I'd imagine. Obviously it would be a slow-moving process.

I agree one hundred percent. However, that's not the crux of the matter. Legal weed can still be abused and can still wreck a career just like legal alcohol.

I wouldn't say "just like". I can smoke weed every single night and get up for work at 6:30 and be 100% functional. I can't get drunk every night and be a vaguely contributing member of society. I guess in the sense that your career can be "wrecked" for failing a drug test for weed, you're right. But as far as it's impact on mental and physical health you are very, very wrong (assuming that's even the point you're making).

I can agree. But I rather them smoke weed than drink. 18 year olds drinking could be dangerous

Not too worried. As long as he's ready Week 1 that is all that matters.

As if smoking weed recreationally was hindering his performance?
