So let me get this straight. You want to tell the commissioner and all the university presidents to not take the big dollars from the TV networks because it's hot in the stadium. Great argument.

no, i want some common sense to be used in scheduling...there are other big games that can be scheduled in September for CBS...there shouldn't be a day game in Tiger Stadium until AFTER October 15...

this effing conference is making us play on Thanksgiving Day at aTm, so they should be giving us something in return

Newsflash, the entire southern US is hot until late October.

So you want all of LSU's home big games to be scheduled after October 15?

Time to face the truth. Mike slive does not care one bit about Louisiana State University , it's fans , or traditions. He and Roy Kramer never have and never will. If you want special attention or favors then move to Alabama. There will always be unfair treatment to LSU by Slive and Joe Alleva is not man enough to frick over the commish.

You don't think it is hot in Gainesville?
Tallahassee? Tuscaloosa? Miami?

It is hot in the Deep South everywhere. LSU fans just need to man up.

LSU started playing football at night for a good reason....IT'S HOT IN LOUISIANA UNTIL LATE OCTOBER...

I challenge Mr Slive, the university presidents, and the head of CBS Sports to sit in the East Upper Deck of Tiger Stadium during a day game in any September....or even until mid-October...see how much they like the experience...

You're not really serious are you?

CBS helps finance LSU and every member of the SEC. They pick LSU for day games because LSU is an elite program.

This is not about fans comfort or their personal preferences. This is about an entertainment product which is slotted for Saturday afternoon.

You want night games then bring back Dinardo. It will be all night games except for the 4 or five games selected for noon for crappy SEC game of the week.

If you want comfort then stay at home and watch it on the Plasma.

they stole our most storied tradition so they could squeeze a couple mill more from CBS. the SEC should advocate to CBS for LSU to get satnite games at least til Holloween. those conditions sat. where obviously dangerous, and in large part, the reason why so many folks opted out. JMO.

get better, get ready...get even.

It's hot a lot of places. It's also cold in other places where people show up.

I mean it was hot, but being drunk, I got some water during the game and it was completely bearable.uncomfortable, sure! but well worth it to see the Tigers demoralize the gators.

Your message made me think about how night games are a huge tradition for LSU. If traditions are so important to the SEC officials, and they are so concerned to keep Bama's tradition of playing Tennessee, is this another thing that Slive honors for Bama but screws LSU U and our traditions?

the East Upper Deck

Maybe it's just because I'm on the West side, but from where I sit it looks like the main problem is with the East side of the stadium between the 30s, which would be the nouveau riche of Tiger Stadium: ticket holders who have the means to pay the high TAF who have jumped on the LSU bandwagon during the last decade or so. The SEZ was packed. The West lower bowl was packed all of the way to the student section. I couldn't really see into the west upper deck.

The biggest holes seemed to be the "premium"(lower) rows of the East upper deck and, for whatever reason, sections 235 and 236 in the NE corner of the NEZ.

That said, it was hot as balls out there and $11 for two bottles of water is crazy; running out is worse.

This is, bar none, the worst thread I've read on here all year.
