I know i'm gonna get killed for this but I have seen improvement by our QB in the last 2 games. he used his feet well, he didn't panic and the only interception was when the wr fell down.

sure, his passing stats sucked but if the 4 dropped passes didn't happen no one would be so down on him. also, if the ref hadn't screwed us out of the td after the fumble recovery everyone would be laying off.

I don't think throwing a stupid pick with the lead and not being able to crack 50% completion is good enough to win. We were in that game because, Sims sucks , our d was playing well and our run game was at least moving it somewhat.

The score says otherwise.

This won't go over well, but he did.

That said, I'm ready for us to give Harris another spin.

Honestly i want to defend him, but all i see is the wide open field in front of him as he throws to a covered receiver on 4th down in OT

I think it's sad when you require only minimal competence from your QB, but I see your point.

He played well enough that we could've won still but he didn't play well enough to help us win. He is a kid that no doubt plays his arse of for the tigers I'm not going to bash/hate him but he or BH one need to make huge progress and give us a stable, productive QB

I will give him this he actual ran fairly well but yea he should have taken off on that 4th and 10. I guess he was scared Bama was going to close in on him.

The game was tied and the WR fell down you dumbass. Some of you people must have your head completely shoved up your arse while you're watching. Or you just make shite up to fit your agenda.

At what point does "good enough" become not good enough?

You need a playmaker to win it all in CFB. A playmaker under center we do not have.

All this. I've been super critical of Jennings all year, but he did enough to win that game. I still don't think he's the answer, but I'll give him credit for doing just enough.

bullshite, he he doesn't do one thing well... He cant even run the read option it's pre-determined, he can't read shite...he fell straight to the ground one play or he runs right into the pile. I bet kragthorpe could run the offense better. He knows the plays at least

Only reason he ran well some of you say... Is only because dural was covered. He panics if dural isnt open. thankfully the line blocked well enough, otherwise he would have taken about 6-7 sacks instead of scrambling. His throw is pre-determined, he stares down is only option and doesn't have the brain matter to realize he can look at another receiver

I thought nobody could be worse than JJ, but leave it miles to prove it's true.

8/26 is horrible. Add the 4 drops so it's 12/26... And it's still horrible.

He has shown 0 improvement. I dont care if he doesn't freak out because it's irrelevant. He doesn't freak out... And still sucks. So who cares if he doesn't freak out?

OP should read: "We almost won despite our QB play".

What do you think he would say if you asked him that question? I would hope he would say, no not nearly good enough.

The 4 drops would had got us 40 yards max. So a qb throwing 26 passes for 100 yards is what we should expect. We were in the damn game despite our qb note/c of him.

Les has yall so brainwashed it is ridiculous.

This was our best chance to beat Alabama since reg season 2011. Blown. A QB like AJ just isn't going to cut it, no matter how far it seems like he's come, he's still way behind the proverbial 8 ball. I wish somebody on the coaching staff knew how to develop QBs on a faster track than it seems LSU does. I feel like coaching a QB at LSU is like taking a non-swimmer kid to the end of the pier and throwing him in with one word of advice: "Swim!"

this, that is atrocious. less than a 33% completion rate. The bama midget that retrieves the kick off tee could do that.

Jennings scrambled fairly well so ill give him credit for extending some plays but he didn't play close to good enough to win.

The rest of our team played well enough to make up for the fact that he is just not a QB. He managed the game and avoided some mistakes. Could he have been worse. YES.

However, the kid just doesn't see the field yet. He had a first down at worst and a touchdown at best in front of his feet on that last OT play. He just can't see anything other than the option he has predetermined.

I think the point is really we seem stuck at the qb position and trashing him does no good at all. we are all frustrated as hell that we can't find a qb that plays better and can take over a game sometimes and complete a key pass here or there.

the kid is playing his arse off and doing the best he can. he is improving and i'm at the point of cheering him as a person. cheering for him.

LSU needs a QB that can complete 11-15 passes a game most of which either stretch the field vertically or are short routes to move the chains. Jennings ALMOST played well enough to win.
