The 4 drops would had got us 40 yards max. So a qb throwing 26 passes for 100 yards is what we should expect. We were in the damn game despite our qb note/c of him.

Les has yall so brainwashed it is ridiculous.

You might be dumber than that idiot heartbreak. Not one single person in this thread has said that we were in the game because of Jennings.

If we played a rock or potted plant at qb we would have had only 76 less yards of offense

why are we throwing timing routes with a qb that can't crack 50% completion rate in the sec? Jennings doesn't have the skill to throw a timing route with his wind up and hasn't shown to be accurate all year. Miles and cam put a kid in a bad position and he threw a pick.

BS, IF he wuda, cuda, & shuda, Tigers would be 8-2 not 7-3...

AJ10 is just another version of JJ, and I don't like where CLM sees him in LSU's future...he wont get better because he has no down field vision...not instinctive enough to play the position and can only throw the jump ball with any consistency, IMO...

No, he didn't. He had a few scrambles in zone coverage and a couple dump offs. Two of his passes to Dural were off target. One was completed but Dural had to go to the ground to catch it when he had room to run. Watch the game again. It wasn't New Mexico St bad, but it wasn't good at all.

So you don't like the play calling and you blame the QB for throwing a stupid pick? Seems pretty intelligent.

His completion percentage was poor.. but..

Well to be fair... With AJ skill set there isn't an instance where iAJ would be in a good position. A simple slant route is about as simple as you can get and we make it look impossible.

all of them deserve blame. It was a stupid play call considering what was going on at the time and what we have at qb. Run the ball and go into the half tied at 7. However, even if you give AJ a break for the pick he didn't have a good game. He was 8 for 26, and made plenty of bad reads on the read option. He did one thing well which was scramble on broken plays.

I take umbrage at this comment. the only other qb I've seen this year was worse and couldn't lead the team out of an outhouse. he didn't know the plays or couldn't remember them and was scared to death. so maybe he's been brainwashed too? stupid choice of words.

He is playing his heart out, he simply isn't very good. Yes, if you could take away the drops..four at most, LSU might have won . But if they had won, it would have still been the defense that did it even more so than OM.

Even if Dural didn't slip it was a poor read. Miles said it was a bad decision today.

I agree with all of this. I don't think Jennings is some great QB. I don't even think he will play next year. This thread is about him playing well enough to win on Saturday, which he did

Of course Jennings played well enough for LSU to win.

With 50 seconds to go, LSU had a lead and needed stop. They didn't get it.

you can blame his passing stats for the loss if you want to but we should have won in spite of that. we needed a perfect game to overcome our passing deficiencys and we damn near got it. but to play harris or as one post suggested kragthorpe is just stupid at this juncture. or at least as of Saturdays game. going forward? maybe not. we are out of the race now so i'm hopeful that we share qb time regardless of the results.

He still has a 50% cmp even against non sec opponents. Going back to the bowl he has over 50% cmp ONCE. That's 10+ games. I think he's a great kid who really does want to win, but he simply doesn't have it. He's shown ZERO improvement almost 2 years in. Case closed end of story.
