No he didn't. If we had any remote hint of a passing game, we would have won that game. Teams don't respect Jennings, and he gives them no reason to.

I don't think throwing a stupid pick with the lead and not being able to crack 50% completion is good enough to win
Well, he played well enough to complete 12/22 passes in regulation.
Sucks our receivers can't catch.

I somewhat agree, overall.
Without the drops, he is about 12/22 in regulation, and we convert 3 more first downs, keeping our offense on the field even longer than it already was.
A few of the drops would have led to drives continuing into their side of the field, more time of possession, more opportunities to score, etc.
However, he still made some bad mistakes. He doesn't seem too comfortable out there.
I do agree that he probably played well enough for us to win, simply because we should have won the game anyway.

OK, yes...Jennings was good enough, because we had that game won.. But, ughhhh, Our Offense is like the initial shot of a root canal. Yes, we win in spite of our QB, but wouldn't it be great to win because of our QB????Its not a stretch, is it???

I know i'm gonna get killed for this but I have seen improvement by our QB in the last 2 games. he used his feet well, he didn't panic and the only interception was when the wr fell down.
sure, his passing stats sucked but if the 4 dropped passes didn't happen no one would be so down on him. also, if the ref hadn't screwed us out of the td after the fumble recovery everyone would be laying off.
Jesus Christ, at that rate, he may be a serviceable QB by his 6th year in college? WTF is this, the Lou Tepper plan???

This is exactly what is wrong with LSU.
Subpar QB play is acceptable, because LSU wins regardless of QB play.. but it's ridiculous to make it such a challenge to the team to win without much of a passing game..

Its not Jennings fault. He's just not a quality SEC QB at this point. The question is why don't we have a serviceable QB?

agreed! aj put us in a position to win. the dropped passes didn't help. his pass to 15 on the last play was spot on.
i have zero problems with the way he played.
my only 2 issues were throwing with 1 min left in half and choosing to play defense first in ot.
those, imo, were our weakness. besides the bama refs.

the "jennings is young" excuse doesn't hold water with me. he's been on campus since january 2013.
people must not watch any other team but LSU. there's a lot of QB's that are better than jennings. 94 of them by the stats.

Bottom line, pass offense is weakest part of LSU's game which is why I don't understand why Harris doesn't play. He is actually a better runner, isn't he?
Posted on 11/10/14 at 9:21 pm to cajun5tiger
a much better runner. he picked up 7 yards saturday night and then was sent back to the bench. he doesn't get anymore series anymore.
the QB's are neutered.

I not think our coaches actually watched him play in high school. Yea he shite himself at auburn, but I do believe that was him slinging it around and almost winning against moo state. That seems to have been forgotten.

I agree.... In his limited PT, Harris has already shown much more than Jennings has all season long.
Yea he was bad vs Auburn... But Jennings has been bad all year and shite himself vs NMST in 1 quarter.

He was hot garbage. It's a shame Harris hasn't played more. "We will need both quarterbacks this season" my arse

Worse starting QB in the SEC by far. That game was like a fricking cripple fight on South park as far as the Qb's were concerned. Dumb and Dumber the football version
