With several exceptions, schools must have a student's consent prior to the disclosure of education records. It only applies to educational agencies and institutions that receive funding under a program administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Examples of situations affected by FERPA include school employees divulging information to anyone other than the student about the student's grades or behavior, and school work posted on a bulletin board with a grade. Generally, schools must have written permission from the parent or eligible student in order to release any information from a student's education record.
Very interesting...Thanks for the link.
A couple lines below the section you quoted above, it says...

FERPA specifically excludes employees of an educational institution if they are not students.
Kind of seems like a contradiction....
But it is a Federal Law so I'm sure it's full of them.

With that said, if it is true that Lee is having problems in school, and if it is true that he will be missing the post season, then why not give Mett his reps so that our backup will be somewhat prepared?
Did you see the Ole Miss game? Mett got more reps than Lee did, though he did not throw it. Obviously, if this is a potential issue (and I have NO evidence to support Lee has an academic issue, mind you) then there's absolutely no reason for JL not to get the last reps on senior day - if it's possible he's done - that's the correct thing to do. If Lee's good to go for the SEC-CG, then there's no problem. Mett will get lots of reps in the bowl game practices, because there will be lots of time.

Not even part of team Lee but I can recognize that managing this team, being efficient and protecting the ball against the quality of opponents he did with these scores is not average.

Did you take in to account the defensive and special team scores? What about what the rush O has done this year. FWIW, I think we'd be 12-0 with T.C. McCartney at QB.

meteorites strike the earth and remain intact.
Maybe you should spend more time paying attention in class, instead of posting to the rant...
chump.
ETA: BOOM.
Technically, the atmosphere is part of the earth and meteors hit it all the time. BOOM?

meteors travel THROUGH the atmosphere, until they either disintegrate or become meteorites AFTER impacting the Earth.
Do we need to go over more definitions?
Post less, pay attention in class more.

Does LSU have 'athlete/football friendly teachers' like other schools?
I would think that there would be enough of them out there to avoid something like a player being not able to participate in bowl games. I don't recall in the past players having problems.

No I simply call it a rumor. Idiots like yourself, Beefense and others keep calling it a "fact".
Please show me any post where I didn't say "The rumor I'm hearing" or something similar.
