I totally agree.

Let us go mock the Dawgs now or incite the Bammers again about #2 selection

If one is missing class , it has been a standard , the rest are missing also.if one is having trouble now , what do you think about "Movin on up "?

Not giving Mett reps is one piece that doesn't fit this scenario, admittedly.
However, Lee was a senior playing his last game in Tiger Stadium against Ark.

Sounds like you are having academic issues also.

You would think Coach would throw Mett in there and prepare him if Lee wasn't going to be available later on.

Do you realize the explosion of questions, whining, and teeth knashing this would cause?

I don't necessarily think it's true but it would explain the sudden change at QB a bit. Les' insistence on keeping everything behind close doors (rightly so) makes this worse IMO.

I'm sure there is a group of players that formed a pact to do bad in school.

Technically, there are several forms or arguments. Stating your opinion is an inductive argument.

FWIW, I think you're wrong.

If it is true, I would think he is not academically ineligible, he is just at risk of being ineligible.

Yes, but people get pissy if you discuss it.

Eligibility has not been decided.

It's not over for him.

You should try sitting in on one of the classes some time. They aren't all necessarily paying attention, but most show up to every class.

true, the bowl is post-semester, so final grades are the key. If he is indeed on the fence, he's probably been told to focus on classwork which may be costing him some film sessions.

Frankly, I don't know how a fifth year senior could be in academic trouble. He should be taking a couple of breeze through classes just to get to graduation at this point.

I don't know Jarret's state of mind but I hope someone is providing counseling to him. Possibly missing classes and team meetings.

Up until Friday I didn't think there was a problem but after watching the replay and after JJ's rushing TD, JJ walked past JL and it looked as though neither said anything to each other. Sad really. I hope the best for each going forward. Geaux Tigers.

IDK. Ask your die-hard team Lee guys, if they can't have JL would they prefer Mett or JJ? Start a thread and see who answers honestly

How do you reconcile your post earlier in this thread:

That is your opinion. It (not u) looks very hypocritical to me. As a consistent supporter of both our QBs

With trying to start shiite by saying:

Your posts indicate that you might be the hypocritical one. At least you have plenty of company.

The rumor I have heard is that his old lady left him and he stopped going to class and is in danger of failing multiple classes. I do not have a direct source. It is a rumor. Kill me if you must.

I don't even get what you're implying here. My best guess is you're a JLee fan.

I was told that he's in serious danger of failing every class. I hope it's not the case, but I get the impression it means a lot more to you.

I couldn't believe that more wasn't made out of this on the Rant. It was very interesting to say the least, since its not the type of thing we've seen from Lee in the past.

same thing i heard and this was at a post-ark party with a recruit making his official visit to lsu.

in addition, consider he was originally supposed to graduate in december but isn't.

finally, why is it such a stretch for people to understand:

a. les miles knows more than you do.
b. les could be using the lack of playing time as a punishment/incentive to get him work on getting his grades up.
c. les also wanted to let him, as a senior, get a couple of snaps in his last home game at lsu.
