I think this is the threshold for LSU to get back to Alpha Male status. And I'm not talking about completing 9 of 13. Kid needs to be up around 15 of 22 on average for this offense to be balanced enough to compete with Bama. It's unfair to Fournette to ask him to play against 9 man fronts every play.

Drew Brees, the most accurate passer in the NFL, completes 67.5% of his passes on average.

Just saying.

I'm guessing you don't realize how good 68% is. That would've put him at 5th best in the nation last year. While it would be nice, we don't need Harris to be that good to be a great team this year.

Don't hold your breath if those are your expectations for LSU to regain "greatness".

So we need him to be one of the 3-4 most accurate QBs in the country? OK, yeah I'll take that.

If teams have 9 mans fronts against our 3|1|1 set I have faith in a 70% completion rate

If Harris needs to complete 68% of his passes to win, they are in big trouble

60% completion percentage with a 7.5 yds/att and we are getting somewhere.

High third down percentage is the most important.

Jesus. Do people have any idea how good 70% is? The QB from WKU led the nation in completion % last year at 71.9%.

This offensive scheme is straight out the 1950's and needs exceptional QB play to overcome its deficiencies. So yes, we need top five QB play.

I'd rather see a stat line like 16/28 making that a 57% completion rate. Harris doesn't need to be a world killer but if he could complete 16 passes for around 220-230 yards per game we would be set.

haha 68% and they will be talking about 2016 LSU as the all time greatest in NCAA history. 60% consistently and we will actually have a great shot at the title.

When your passing playbook is as elementary and deficient as Miles' then you have to hit at a higher percentage.

I bet teams weren't lining up in a 9 man front against their spread either. Imagine the space for our receivers

Literally will have a man uncovered every play!

I wasn't aware offenses used the pistol formation or primarily operated out of 3 WR sets in the 1950s. You idiots need to come up with something new & more accurate. It's obvious from that post you know don't pay attention to the actual sets & formations the Tigers run nor do you have any knowledgeable insight in football at all.
