DiNardo makes Italian food for a living and Saban won his second title in January of 2010.

What I do know is that 5 different SEC programs have won national titles in the BCS era. The Big 10 doesn't have 5 programs that can do that. That's a pretty big difference.

And you can have mismatches in bowl games anyway. Michigan State got taken to the woodshed this year by Bama and lost one less game than Bama did and still ended up ranked lower than Bama.

Aren't these the same Bama fans that have been known to throw bricks through their coaches' windows?

...yes indeed...IF SABAN DOESN'T WIN ANOTHER NATIONAL TITLE IN TWO YEARS,..WE'LL SEE HOW MELLOW BAMMERS ARE...JUST SAYING...

Yep, but the results over time are not that different. Mismatches? Maybe. With less talent, the B10 appears to be holding their own. Most SEC teams out recruit Wisconsin and Iowa year in and out.

Since it all comes back to comparisons, maybe those B10 teams are better at developing talent, or maybe they have better coaching?

It's all speculation. But possibly those coaches are doing better with less.

iNardos plaers lasted longer in the NFL than Sabans players... Fact

It's true, DiNardo shite-stomped Saban's Michigan State team 45-26 in Gerry's first season.

Maybe the Big 10 don't suffer the same schedule fatigue that SEC teams do or the same numbers of injuries.

DiNardo is the last coach at LSU to lose 15 games in his last 2 seasons while employed as the coach.

Well then using your logic, clearly Dinardo is the better coach.

But, he hasn't won a national title, much less two.

And Donnan and Tubs were both undefeated against DiNardo.

You can't be sure these days. Lots of Coach D love on here since Saban went to Bama. He all of a sudden became a good guy then.

You admitted you were "Psychologically scarred" from the DiNardo era.

Yeah, because Gerry never left WM's fieldhouse it seemed. He knew me by name and I was a nobody.

There are a lot of teams from the SEC and the Big 10 who have appeared in a BCS bowls, but the Big 10 has one team, OSU, who won a BCS title while the SEC has 7 wins by 5 different teams.

That speaks volumes bout the degree of difficulty in competing in the SEC as opposed the Big 10. imo

So? That's not my fault. That's Gerry's fault. Without bad football in 1998 and 1999, I'm not scarred from his stay at LSU.
