I do have a question though. Where would you rank Trovon Reed (let's be fair and say before his senior season) if he were to be in the 2011 class. I'm really interested to see what you think about this one. I'll leave that to others.

I would probably have him behind Sylve and in front of Hill.

I think he projects even better as a CB prospect than a WR. He needs to add weight though.

Trovon would be ranked about 7th on the list in this years class.

Yup. I'd have him in the 7-8 range

No, but as I stated on here before, i used to work with San Diego Chargers scouting dept.

Have a close friend and former NFL player on coaching staff and former college players (LSU) we keep in touch with all the time. Have good relationships with coaches on 90 and I 10 areas, and establishing good relations with alex, monroe, and shreveport areas. Me and my friends try and help by giving good adivce to kids and hope to create something soon (free) to help.

Doesnt hurt having a former tiger making calls for you.

Wow!!! Goes to show you how one class can differ from another. It also reinforces just how "sick" this next class can/will be. Thanks Lynx..and Pdaddy

You better make sure it's clear that it's just a watchlist. People around here will ask why you have the top ranked RB #6th in the state behind the five best QB's or something stupid like that.

Hopefully everyone realizes how early it is. At the very worst, making a list gets acquainted with the names we will be following in state over the next year. So, I do think there is some benefit in coming out with an early list. Its just hard to substantiate things past the top 10 or so.

On a serious note, do you think there will be any instate linebackers worth going after for 2011 or are we pretty much chasing OOS again?

your list is great..everyone can argue with who's number one..i even have a different number 1 guy..however, its clear who the top 15 guys are. however everyone wants to rank them is up to them...

Beau Fitte is the only name that could really be an instate possibility at this point.

Let me just make the changes in the current sticky.

It may not look at 'professional' once I do that at this point because I don't have write ups yet for all these guys, but eventually I will get those done.

I'll let you know if something doesn't work out right.

How far out of your Top 30 do you have Hunter Leppert, QB at Minden?

I'll add him to the list of recruits I need to look into.

The class is so deep this year and it is so early that every time I think I have a decent list a new name pops up

Thanks for the heads up.
