I don't know that you can make a valid argument for Paul Turner legitimately being better than Jarvis Landry.

I didn't say Turner was better. I was asking why everyone jizzed their pants when we got Landry, myself included, while Turner is being ignored by the sites. I was not saying anything about this list at all. Just asking why he has 0 information on Rivals and Scout, especially when Rivals said WM would be the odds on favorite for preseason #1 in the nation next year. Obviously they've watched WM play so they've seen Turner. I posted Landry's measurables because he's a clear cut 100% stud so he's a great kid to compare. It wouldn't make sense to compare Turner to a marginal recruit. The arguement then would be, "Well LSU chose Recruit X over Turner".

I also don't know if camps will make a huge difference with Turner. We saw DJ Banks win MVP of the DBs at LSU camp and still end up at Tulane. Kinda interesting that the only team listed for Turner is Mississippi State after MSU getting Dillon Day. Mullen really seems to be pushing to get into WM. Everyone says WM is 100% LSU, but that's due to Shows pushing everyone. Shows will be gone soon.

I think he is just surprised/annoyed that PT hasn't gotten any publicity.

If Turner shows out at CB in a camp, then he will become a cherished player. But right now now one knows if he can play there.

Yeah, and that's fine. Turner looks like a fine athlete for sure, but he's also positionless for the next level at this point. He won't play QB in college and unlike someone like Rueben Randle, who had to play QB for his team, we have no idea where Turner will end up in college.

Can he play in the secondary? Can he become a WR?

I think those unknowns are why he's gotten little attention national.

Hey Lynx, what u see on the offensive side that you think seperates Collins from Robinson.. I can see the athletic ability, I posted awhile back i have Robinson my Number 1 player based on future projection.

Just curious to get your opinion..

....How do you do that? I don't think I have those abilities.

Realistically, we may end up splitting hairs on this one because Robinson is supposedly in the 5 star mix.

Robinson has some extremely impressive video. The first time I saw it, I was blown away. He has all the tools you look for.

With La'el, it is the same thing. He just has everything you want in an OL.

There isn't a huge difference between these guys. You can make an argument for a handful of guys to be #1 in the state next year.

i agree, i have no doubt that Collins is top prospect. I do believe that Robinson is the best tackle and projects the best in this class in the next 5 years.

No, because he needs to weight the opinions and also synthesize.

A poll would allow for nobodies to come here and pump up their favorite player.

Good point THF.

Fleming seems to be the guy I really need to adjust. I am hesitant to push Trai above White without seeing video...White got an offer an Trai doesn't. Once video is out I'll move them around more freely.

Lewis will hold steady for a little while longer...we'll see what happens with him over the weekend.

when projecting A.Lewis...Do you guys really see him being the second best perimeter player in this class...I think Sylve and liggins projects better in space at this time..Liggins may be a corner.. Liggins, to me im waiting to see at camps.. Mathieu, blew up last year during those times (supposedly only corner to cover landry)... Anxious to see if he's a offense or Defensive guy..

First, Ill state that Mr. Turner is a fine young athlete playing the QB position. He offers a great mix at the position. But he most likely wont play QB at the next level. So where does he play as an athlete (well WR, DB, RB are the 3 options)

You compare him to Landry, which isnt fair to Mr. Turner. Measureables are only a portion of the equation. The biggest difference between Turner and Landry is that Landry knows how to play WR. He has stick em on his hands. He runs great routes and he is extremely aggressive as a blocker and runner. He can cut around but will also bull through. Thats why he projects so well to the next level at WR. He just does so many WR things very well. WR isnt all measurables, though they can help if you know how to play the position well.

Josh Reed didn't have the greatest of measureables, but he sure was a GREAT WR in college. There were a few guys on the team that had better measurables, but that didn't relate to catches and TD's.

That's why I said it's ur rankings and u can do what u want with them. But it's not as THF said of the rankings being an overall reflection

Im also debating A.Lewis as top 3 perimeter player. Im not understanding how he has no film hes going to be a Jr. in high school and I got some on him. I guess what you mean is the "highlights" everyone seems to watch to show kids are all american players on these pay sites. He may not have that due to how he fits into his teams offense.

Let him go to the camps this summer and do his one on one drills with guys who can get him the ball..You are correct, you cant tell how he plays in space at this time.

Was this all directed to me?

I guess I was just having trouble following some of what you said without knowing the context.

Do you have game footage of Lewis?

Not towards anybody actually.. Yes, we have film of almost 45 kids throughout the state. We looking now at some opportunities to get some free info out there. By July, we may have an answer on that..

Lynx

I like the list. Could a coupla guys be moved around? Prolly so! BUT, it's a friggin start.

I do have a question though. Where would you rank Trovon Reed (let's be fair and say before his senior season) if he were to be in the 2011 class. I'm really interested to see what you think about this one. I'll leave that to others.

Oh, and thanks for the list. Hell, I enjoy these type things and prefer not to pick them apart!!!
