This is what I meant for Mickey on offense, not saying we wouldnt need him completely, we would have plenty of Iso players, he will be able to hang out in the post more, grab up more offensive boards, easy buckets down low Etc.

top 3? hell no...top 10? yes. remember that coaching has A LOT to do with a team sa well as the players. UK loads up every year on kids like this. Same with the likes f Duke, Arizona, OSU, and Kansas. CJJ has to prove a little before he gets that respect

This whole situation seems very familiar... Everyone thinking some top 5 SG is going to Kentucky then Jerry Meyer predicting that the SG won't go to UK but in fact will go to LSU.... Then everyone else following.... Then him committing....

Would it help our case if Newman was on the same team for the All Star game as Blakeney and Simmons? Or does it not matter that much that he is on the other team?
I think it would be a huge advantage if he could have gotten a taste of playing on the same team as Blakeney and Simmons..

I don't think it will matter if they are on the same side at the AA game. I would like to see them start putting on a full court press on Thon Maker though.
