SIAP, but is there a time table where Malik will be announcing his decision?

Your best starting 5

Newman
Blakeney
Quaterman
Simmons
Mickey

To add to this, a bench of:

Patterson, Hornsby, Gray, Victor, Bridgewater, Epps, Robinson, Malone ...

Good god, what a deep, balanced and talented group that would be. Preseason top 4 with legit national title aspirations, for sure.

Depending on who stays and who goes around the country, I would say that would be a top 3 team. Maybe #1 or #2. Sick amount of talent, and it will be great that we would really only need Mickey for his defense and shot blocking, because we would have more than plenty of offensive juggernauts. Wow! I really hope we get Newman.

Eta: just think about all the hype and attention we will get next year, gonna be something special!

I think my only concern is if JJ can bring this young group together in a quick manner.

JC at Kentucky has much more experience with bringing freshman together very quickly

We certainly wouldn't need to iso with Mickey, which he has struggled at doing. We could use him the way he is best, on pick and roll and on offensive rebounds.

Meyer is very close to Newman. He talks with him personally. This is great news.

I suppose it's possible. Does anyone know how involved his parents are in the recruiting process and whether or not they were present for his visit to BR?

Simmons, Blakeney, and Newman would be such an offensive juggernaut

Mickey would get half the shots? If that many. Simmons, Blakeney, and Newman all want the ball in their hands to make plays. Jones would have his hands full managing that roster.
